I'd like to try hosting a treestump mafia. Basically, after you die you can still post and speculate based off of any available info (just not reveal any new info) I used to play this a lot and I've never seen it here, so I'd like to try it if it's OK.

Yeah i would love to be into another game, tho i'm currently in 2 games in mafiascum and not sure if i should add another one yet.
I can host one too, League of Legends themed but with a simple setup and easy-to-understand (not much flavor).

Hosting 2 mafia at once wouldn't be a bad idea. Especially when there's a good interest in the current game.

Basically xmafia format, I'll be using the roles from their role list as well.

I was kind of thinking of modding a semi closed 9 player setup like those designed for newbies on mafiascum, should help to ease it a bit for new mafia players.

After I finish up hosting LoL mafia, I have an idea for a highly experimental (and probably unbalanced) game: everyone (except possibly scum) will start as an amnesiac, mystery role, or secret role. Basically everyone will get some kind of PR, but no one will know exactly what it is at the start of the game. Good idea or no?

Scumteam is going to have to be very tiny depending on how bastard you go (vigs / insane cops / 1-shots), unless there's a way for them to regain memories?

Amnesiac - You have lost your memory. You may eventually regain it. An amnesiac has a 1 in 3 (might change to 1 in 2) chance of regaining his memory each morning.

Edit: Another alternative is Greater Idea Mafia, if you click on the link you'll see a lot of roles, please take in mind that those are going to be randomized to be given to players, so not all roles you see there may appear

Elaborating on that, Because there are a few setups i wanna mod and i wanna know what players would like before deciding what to mod.
Option 1 Great/er/est Idea Mafia: Fun setup, but it may end up being unbalanced for town, so i may need to reroll roles until there's at least 50% town players and at least 1 anti-town player.
Option 2 Lucid Dreamers: Played this during Marathons in MS, everyone's almost like a god in terms of night actions, with certain limitations for obvious reasons, anything goes, even things like assigning post restrictions and what not while having fun and finding scum at the same time, it can turn really hilarious.
Option 3 Upick Role Madness: Everyone chooses something (idk what yet) and I create a role out of what people choose and then roll alignments, can be quite interesting.
Option 4 EM Role Madness: Uses Epic Mafia's roles (with some exceptions since they can't be ported to forum) including some really crazy roles.
Note that all 3 options are more for fun than anything, so new players should be wary of it before applying.
