can't figure out what's going on with her arms and the shoulders are red for some reason??? but other than that it looks p good. Like the backgrounds a lot

Also why is this marked '95 that was almost 20 years ago

Hatsune Miku didn't even exist back then, did she

fuck that 95 is part of someone's name nevermind

People often like to draw their shoulders like that (as well as knees, and I've noticed a lot of reddening fingers too), it just looks slightly nicer I guess.

Knees make sense to me but that's because my knees are red a lot because I tend to slide on them and the friction burns the flesh away so the skin is just weird there

That is incorrect.

It is actually applied to any bare part of the body that could be considered "hot" so as to accentuate it, with a few exceptions. Shoulder, knees, buttocks, as well as the superior portion of the bust is commonly subject to this rule, assuming it is a) exposed/bare b) big. Though usually you'll only see ecchi doing this shit, refer to Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere (or anything animated by Sunrise, really) or Oniai for that kind of thing, though I recommend the former if you're actually going to watch anything at all. I'd post pics but you probably already know what I'm referring to.

The exceptions would be the cheeks (although I guess that could be kinda moe) and the fingers. Why they redden fingers I do not know. Maybe it helps attract attention to the hand, or all those characters have a really high concentration of iron in their blood.

Well, don't worry about it too much, I guess. It seems to be a common mistake since I've seen it on more than one picture.

That's not bad, though the eyes seem kind of lost, crossed, and/or derped. Make sure that *both* eyes are looking in the same general direction, otherwise you'll get that derpy expression. Even then it can still look "off" (i.e. one eye looking at the viewer and another looking off to the side) but at least you'll avoid the derp, which is probably the worst case scenario anyway. In your case her left eye (from our view, the one to the right) is perfect. The other one looks like its wandering, though.

Another thing to take into account: Looking at the highlight on her hair, you might want to make the arc a little lower. Try to imagine her head as a three dimensional object so you can get a proper arc on the head. As in,

If you're going to redo that I'd be looking forward to seeing it: though if you wouldn't mind pls change the blue bow on her head to red. Why? Well it'd look cuter >_>

This ^

It's really easy to get lazy and stop practicing if you're inexperienced, but it's this sort of lack of determination that separates the pros from the graphically challenged. To be honest, the same can be said about a lot of things, but I feel that it's especially true for drawing.

The strokes on paper are actually much softer; I edited them so it'd look stronger because the scan looked too dim. At least according to Porsche.

She's usually wearing an empty look unless she takes the bow off.

But yeah, she seems proud because in that instance she's talking about her power before she got nerfed
