I did make a request for Relax/Autopilot to actually work with No Fail/Sudden Death (No Fail would give the current behaviour). It was invalidated, and the only result from it was that NF/SD are no longer selectable with them (they were at the time, they just didn't have any effect).winber1 wrote:

CXu: seeing 300s still doesn't really help to spot miss on maps with many stacking... not being able to see miss makes this more stressing than relaxing

I play relax, but I try not too mostly because you can't really practice your timing very well. You can practice your snapping timing or your movement timing but not your click timing. That handicap alone makes it way easier to play relax than it is to play no mod.
I love relax anyways because I get to challenge myself with fast and jumpy maps without worrying about hitting every other stream. That being said, I use relax with double time/ hd and hr/ hd all the time on maps that can't be cleared with those mods. Unless you're cookiezi of course.
If I need to polish my movements, relax is a good resource. Likewise, if I need to polish my streaming, auto pilot is great as well. But why use these mods when you can just learn it all at once? I think it would be more tedious to learn to combine the streaming and movements after learning them separately.

I play Relax when I have a tough time passing some hard maps. It reminds me that cursor movement really isn't difficult, it just seems that way when coupled with streams and complicated rhythms. It really is a relaxing mod.

My opinion about Relax is actually Lyby's and Kanye's. I happen to play it from time to time when I feel like it, in my two main modes (Based on the PC ofc)
If Lyby says this and I agree, it's because since you don't have the tapping/clicking/whatever you don't have the same playstyle.

just checked, his miss was on the hardest part in the map which is 02:13:265 (5,6,7,8,1,2,3,4). Honestly this needs to be remapped because it's plain unreadable on this AR (as well as 01:14:550 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) and 02:47:978 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) since they're really ass and not fun to play) and then it would be a good map.Silynn wrote:

Freedom Dive definitely requires more stamina overall, plus it's faster (assuming you don't pause for like 5 minutes at every break, if you do that then Joint Struggle is still the ultimate stamina map due to no breaks at all)

Joint Struggle takes more stamina than Freedom Dive imo, for freedom dive you can keep clicking at the same speed, but for joint struggle you have to take those 1 note breaks in order to click accurately. However if you just spam 187bpm 1/4 nonstop on joint struggle then I guess freedom dive takes more stamina.MillhioreF wrote:

Shake your mouse while first actively holding down your tablet pen. The cursor will shake around but you will still hit most of the objects, almost all of the circles but not so many sliders. The effect isn't as awesome if you're spectating/watching a replay of someone doing it, but it's noticable.

Relax makes me feel better cause I can't stream at all. My only problem with Relax is that it somehow counts in the total play count and you can't tell when you miss stuff.
Otherwise, really good for aim training and getting used to higher ARs.

Stay away from relax if you want to improve at the game. The game is all about your hand coordination and syncing both tasks of aiming and tapping. If you only have to aim by frequently playing relax it is gonna mess with your acc.

I play relax, I still use my keyboard to get better, got 132k on Jump Training - Make a move. The problem is without relax I cant do jumps
I hope this thread encourages other people to also try out Relax. It's fun! (and if enough people start using it maybe the feature request to display miss and accuracy during the play would get more attention... it's really needed. For autopilot too but that's already outside of the scope of this thread)
