Just realized: If the December SP event has modding questions, then the November remaining slot should not be M4M because it will be very confusing.

So now the M1 of November is now N2 (normal slot)
The next poster who has the checkword is claiming that slot.

September and October 2012 round is cleared.
The round will officially move to Modding History on November 17 (= deadline for SP Event)
or when all maps are done with rechecks.
All requesters in that round are asked to receive/check/fix/justify before that.

For the December SP Event participants, remember to come and check for current standing and revision availability.
We are also happy to include more new participants, please remember to send your answers through PM so that others cannot copy from you.

Since the Future Lab map is to be retired, thq 1st question will be changed to modding Papa Mama Mac instead.

IMPORTANT: To attempt this question, contact me to get the updated version of the map. Do not mod the one on BSS

LESS IMPORTANT: Anyone replying to the Future Lab will be deducted 9 points for foiling my plans.
If you still want to mod it (because it's such a cute song) you are welcome to do it through PM.

Since no one has modded anything yet, there will not be revision chances.

@nold_1702: Thank you for your concern. I am looking into the possibility of adding rules to favour newcomers and people who cannot play Taiko very well.
These includes but are not limited to:
  1. forcing hardrock/doubletime/nightcore mod on older players and then neutralizing the multiplier
  2. allowing easy/halftime/nofail mod on newer players and then neutralizing the multiplier
  3. limiting some rounds to new players and players with low Taiko experiences
You are always welcome to suggest more way to make this fun for everyone!

@Gezo: You mean like Nekomata Master yadda yadda - Indigo Bird (dialgadu77) (1,4xxxx pts by Gezo)
Since each map can only secure one place in the leaderboards, If you chooses to do so you are transferring your score to dialgadu77.

Round 2 is now open! This round is specifically designed for starters in Taiko.

Remember the special rules for this round: Requesters with raw Taiko pp over 250 must use Hard Rock + Double Time/ Nightcore and the multiplier will be neutralized (i.e. final score divided by 1.19)

And that mod neutralization doesn't work on really good ppl.
The only way to really help the newcomers is to limit some rounds to new mappers and ppl with low taiko pp

Also Coro your neutralized score for Tonari no Totoro is 159,000
You got a map to mod... wait you already have one waiting at the uncleared SP.
Technically you don't get the slot.

Round 3 is now open! Accuracy is crucial to a samurai's success.
The newcomer-friendly rule this time is: Requesters with raw Taiko pp under 250 may choose, for Ryoumaden only, to have all 可s counted as 良s OR play Muzukashii instead of Oni. Please include your choice with your screencaps!

And speaking of rounds for seniors...
Round 4 is now open! aquabluu's Taiko Maps now features Taiko Trials IV, so goodbye to Taiko Trials III!
The newcomer-friendly rule this time is: Requesters with raw Taiko pp under 250 may choose to play any easier difficulties available for up to 7 maps. Requesters with raw Taiko pp at 251~1000 may choose to play any easier difficulties available for up to 3 maps. Please state which maps you are playing at lower difficulties!

By raw Taiko pp I mean the number under the ranking diagram in your profile. According to your profile it is currently more than 4000.

Anyway to participate you will need screencaps of the result screens to show your result. You can see examples of submission above.

Finally, Round 4 is still available until the end of the week. You can always try playing that before it closes.

No You do not just post your map at random queues. Please read the rules carefully.
Here we require you to play certain Taiko maps and achieve goals in order to be given a slot.

A review of the rounds reveals that all of them are quite some challenge to players. So many of the criteria are tuned down.
For example, Round 1-1 now requires simply passing Anpanman no March Taiko Oni.

Enjoy the newer, and most probably more fun, experience!

Another round of tuning down the goals because there is really nothing to do here.
Most of the current and future rounds will be left with very nominal goals so that more people can enjoy our mods.

Remember Round 2-1 closes on January 5 2013, that is only a week left
