*feels awkward posting anyway*

Breezin:
  1. Set all timing section volumes to 80%. (a few of them are 100% randomly)
  2. 00:41:31 (5) - Add a Finish to the start. Yeah goes on the end. (change the section at 0:41:51 to soft:c2)
  3. 00:50:57 (5) - Whistle/Finish on the start.
  4. 01:54:69 (3) - 1. Whistle; 2. Whistle/Clap; 3. Whistle
Cruisin:
  1. Set all timing section volumes to 80%. (a few of them are 100% randomly)
  2. 00:41:31 (8) - Whistle/Finish on the start.
  3. 01:07:51 (3,1) - Spacing.
  4. 02:41:60 (3) - 1. Clap; 2. Whistle; 3. Finish/Clap

The other difficulties appear unmodified in terms of rhythm.

Weeeird. I'm getting bugs in the SB during gameplay, but when I check the editor everything looks fine

In-game I get flickering during the car animation in the intro, some flickering in the crowd animation later on, and Pathos, Phoenix's desk, and the whole sliding background disappear in the last break and section of the map. Very weird, because I checked all those spots in the editor and everything seems fine. Wonder if it's my graphics card freaking out from so much stuff going on

Other than those oddities (which are presumably not m980's fault), this is coming out great. I'll write send you the ending soon.

Try and change the timing points (non-inheriting) on the 1st beat of a bar.
00:46:90 - this especially. will look bad in taiko if nothing else.

Looks perfect, but allow me to mod some hitsounds in places you've refactored:

Breezin':
  1. 01:49:423 - Add a S:C1 section here.
  2. 01:49:998 - This section becomes redundant with ^.
  3. 02:06:953 - Change this section to S:C1.
  4. 01:52:97 (1) - Remove the clap.
  5. 01:53:161 - Add a S:C1 section here.
  6. 02:42:76 (5,1) - Not hitsounds, but spacing is confusing.
  7. 02:58:08 (1) - Add a Finish to the endpoint.
  8. 02:59:041 - Remove this section.
Cruisin':
  1. 01:52:01 (5) - Omg, pop spam much? .__. Remove Whistle from the end.
  2. 01:52:97 (1) - Remove Clap.

I know it's eba style and I like it, just not sure the osu! guidelines allow for it so I pointed them out.

You've heard most of my comments SB-wise. There's a lot to this map to comment on so it'll probably take a while to Rank even with everything so well done. For example: woooooh! contains excessive transparency (also there were white edges, I've upppy'd a new sprite here), there are two play-skip's but it's the same image, so idk why that's there, the actual play-skip in the skin is a large transparent object; a simple 5x5px transparent object would suffice.

The beatmaps themselves all look fine to me; I wouldn't want them to change, but by ear some of the timing sections sound shaky. The one at offset 124482 is late by a good 14ms or so, and it's probably about 0.1 BPM fast. The one at 132081 is also late with a fast BPM but that's only late by like 6ms and most of that section is during an unplayable break so the BPM being wrong is not really worth troubling over.

If you shrink play-skip, the actual clickable area shrinks. You can't have an SB'd skip button (necessary for animation) without a real, transparent skip button of the appropriate size to make it clickable.

Anyways, was fun, somewhat decent SB. Got an 8 from me, personally. Breezin' was the difficulty I played before rating, and some parts didn't flow well to me. Then I played Hard Rock. Really nice anyways. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

I say "decent" SB because the plot was kind of "meh" to me, and some of the text bubbles weren't pixelated. Yes, I'm picky. Sue me.

I'm really undecided as to whether or not "I didn't like this because, at its core, it is intended to be something that I happen to dislike" is a valid argument, but I think it is. If Ekaru doesn't like EBA maps, then OBVIOUSLY he won't like a map that is in every way intended to resemble an EBA map. In that case, I appreciate the generosity of an 8 :P

I couldn't actually finish playing it because I lagged REALLY bad trying to pass ANY of the difficulties.
Another beatmap that lags me...eh at least the SB was good...I still didn't get to see the full thing since I didn't go into editor yet.
The beatmap was fun though.

It was the SB lag that made it bad.

idk . . . . SB did make the map more better then it is, but I wouldn't call it Epic imo
I did auto the map just to see how fun it is and I really enjoyed the PW/EBA thingy going on, so . . . :D

Basically, Another M980 map(which are great) with a perfect SB so spice things up

I don't talk much on the forums.

That said, I thought you should all now how much I appreciate the effort for this map. I had the widest smile playing the entire thing and I can't wait to show it to all of my friends. I know a lot of people that would love it as much as I have.

I can't wait until more osu maps hit this level of quality. Although the occasional ridiculously hard map is fun, the story and motivation to see it to a positive ending is what Ouendan and Elite Beat Agents is all about! It's cool to play a song, but even better when it fits and you're inspired to help out with your killer dance moves.

Thanks a bunch guys. It really made me miss the DS game. I might try my hand at something like this later on.

I think the idea and story for this is great: very original, very funny. However the execution isn't exactly player friendly. I've found the map to be laggy at times (I'm running a new computer, so it's not the computer), and the intro has a weird double-skip and then pause each time you do try and fast-forward to the gamestart. (long loading time)

Love the idea and story, just a little on the fence about some of the map itself.

Well this is what we call good publicity. My friends (or whatever you want to call them) on FP have been talking about this game forever and seening the video for this finally got me to DL it.

My only complaint about this game in general is that there isn't enough good rock and metal! But I suppose that's what you have to expect with the audience this game will generally attract.

Great beatmap if I do say so myself. The time and love put into it really shows

This is quite the fun map. However, I can't see the darn video. I'm rather certain I'm doing something wrong.
And yes, I do have the "Background Video" box checked. I'm really tired and I don't know what's going on. -_-

It is not video - it is storyboard. And there should be no possible cause for making it not show up. All I can think is that you have loaded the map incorrectly.

While I get quite a bit of loading time the first time I play the beatmap (ballparking 15 seconds), once that initial load time is done, the stage plays without a hitch. My computer is roughly four and a half years old. So it may not be your "computer" if by computer you mean hardware, but something about the configuration of your computing environment is probably what is giving you lag.

The intro has a double skip because it was designed that way. The first skip gets you to the start of the song (a la the DS games) and the second gets you to the start of the gameplay. Not many stages have this double-skip because very few are actually storyboarded with an intro.

I love this map! It has both Phoenix Wright and Elite Beat Agents/Ouendon characters which equals into one awesome beatmap. ;)

Wow, this map emulates the EBA experience pretty well, even the beatmap felt like it was "correct".

Hope more beatmaps like this come out :)

This beatmap is very good. I especially like what you did with the storyboard, with the scripting effect, timing of each frame, expression, and having it just about exactly like an Elite Beat Agents game. :)

Pros:
+Great Storyboard
+Completely timed correctly
+Fitting custom skin

Cons:
-If a difficulty is modified/added, the storyboard screws up. If the beatmaps are not edited, it is not all that major.
^only con i can see right now :D

Overall rating of the beatmap: 10 out of 10.

I hope to see more beatmaps from you ;)

I managed to instigate an INTERNET ARGUMENT with some twat on Youtube, who thought that this map was boring and undermapped. I didn't acknowledge any more of their comments. Fuck people who think like that. They can fall into a pit.
