I've tested it out already, looks great in osu! standard and taiko. All you need to do is insert the background. :3

Okay, I am going insane right now and I need storyboard elements for Taiko's tutorial song (on the PS2 + PSP versions, can't read myriad of Kanji on my own D:), even though I can't even do it, hahahahahahaha. Fux.

Is there any way you could post the kanji here? Maybe I can help.

Rokodo: I'm so using this BG template for future maps :D But some maps don't go well with names next to them, so I'm just gonna remove it when necessary.

Wait a minute... it only has two kanji D: I was to the wrong song, then -- I want to map the opening theme of TaikoPS21 and TaikoPSP1, but it has they myriad of kanji: 虹色・夢色・太鼓色 . No duh I see the 'Tai-ko' kanji there.

EDIT: I've been looking at the songlist lately and FFFFF I WANNA PLAY TAIKO 12 ARGH

Fixed Punishment's timing, fixed BPM and added background for Chikuzei~GEAR UP~, and uploaded Future Rabo

Kurenai[Oni] has 999 combos on both AC and PS2.

There are 10 Taiko Towers in total, actually. The last two are pure hell, if I can get someone to record the BGM for Tower 10, I can make a map for it.

The 1/3 large notes aren't actually supposed to be on the 1/3 lines - They should be on the 1/4:

About the large notes, they were on the 1/3 positions in the template notechart I found. Maybe it's their BPM. I'll change my version

Hey, I'll be mapping Dragostea Din Tei (AKA Koi no Maiahii) sometime soon, can someone find me a BG lol? It's gonna be a TaikOsu too.

Also, here are samples of the Taiko towers:

Taiko Tower 7 -- Taiko Tower 7 -- the Tribute Tower. See excerpts of drumcharts from all-time legendary Taiko songs in one. I don't know about the other 2000s, but I can definitely see excerpts from Saitama and Taberuna.
Taiko Tower 8 -- The Offbeat Tower. Be terrorized by the random placing and hopefully you get your own beat as the notes are placed on 3/4s. I hate this tower. :\
Taiko Tower 9 -- The Deathstream Tower. Better be ready for a long ride, you're not gonna stop strumming on this one!

I can't do 10 for shizz, it's insanely hard... >_>

The entire streams on that isn't even anti-me -- you keep using the first-hand to switch before using the second one. I just kept missing because on the first stream I pressed using the wrong hand :\

My PSP's the Fat one, and I do notice the IR port. So it's a special type of keyboard that uses IR Waves huh... never seen such before. :\

First one is proof of my mental illness. Taiko Easy - Taiko Hard on both are serious attempts. Hell on Butter-Fly was more of a joke, but Rokodo liked it, so it stays. :P But yeah, everyone else here posted theirs, so here ya go.

*downloads more Oni in an attempt to stop sucking* Nice thread BTW. Also, Taikosu maps are a nice idea. Take forever to mod, though.

Time to work on Dragostea Din Tei and probably start working on Koi Kuru or maybe TaikOsu of Kurenai... But I can imagine how hard it is to map Kurenai >_>

Hehe addicting songs ftw! This one is from the Taiko 12 Refresh (I believe?), and is called ユウガオノキミ "Yuugao no Kimi", which according to peppy means "moonflower" or something like that... Enjoy!

The first Kiai section is supposed to be 1.5x but there's no option for that in osu without messing up the barlines, so I just used 2x. This might get updated if sliderchanges are implemented...

For the record, I remade Taiko Easy. Should be much, much, much easier now. Not a single note within 1/2 of another one. Also timing fix. Should be the final version now:

Nope, it lacks a note :( I know this because I just HFLHR'd it and I was wondering why I got it wrong the first time through :\

Right now it's set to don-do-don-don seperated by 1/2-1/3-1/2 , where it's supposed to be don-dodo-don-don which is seperated by 1/3-1/6-1/3-1/2 >_> Or something to that effect, I can note that there was supposed to be a 1/6 there somewhere.

Should be soon, I think. Taiko Ranking Reset is coming soon, so that's when I expect people to start being serious about Taiko, and that should encourage the BATs to come up with a set of standards already. It's mainly just timing and make sure it plays well, anyways (and that Easy is Easy... Don't remind me XP). Since that's really all there is to check, from what I can tell.

'Sides, I want to bug BATs with my 2 Taiko maps already.

I'm attempting to TaikOsu Kurenai right now and I don't think it's going well -- the pattern is just going in circles with redundant patterns and it's like 'aaaaaaaaaah' and I'm like 'wtf I think this is fail for an osu! map' T_T

It's only now I noticed how 'dull' Kurenai can get since it's too long hahahaha

Ah yes,that song...I've seen people play it in the arcades,
apparently it's original map has those streams too.
Not as insane as the Taiko Tower map,though.

Also,have fun with this map.Stream near the end and that sudden speed
up is intentional.

Hey guys, love listening to these maps (as I can only do 7 stars muzukashii :oops: ). Just wanted to point out that both versions of "Hibike! Taiko no Tatsujin" aren't working on the front page. Keep it up guys! I'd love to join you guys in making these authentic taiko maps one of these days.

The long story:

OK guys just so you know what is happening my end: I broke both my computers and had to have them repaired, and I am awaiting the delivery of a replacement keyboard for my current main computer - craptop - so I will be lurking. Soon, I begin sixth form college which may or may not take a huge chunk out of my taikosu'ing time, depending on how much of a future I want to set myself up for. On top of this, my netbook had to have xp reinstalled on a new HDD which I killed with rage so I have to sort this out with programs etc, and I'm expecting soon the delivery of a new desktop that will become my main machine taking over from craptop.


The short story:

Basically my whole technological life is tossed up the arse, and I'm gonna end up living off benefits if I don't stop taikoing so much.
