he definitely did win the game. there was no such line in the Alien pm.Echo wrote:

Technically, Rolled wasn't cheating, plus it did carry a risk - maybe the Wolf PM said "You are an Alien (this means you are not human)" which would have given the game away. But if it worked he would have almost definitely won the game.
it's nice of you to apologizeSaturos-fangirl wrote:
However, Rolled's actions, as I was aware, while in violation of the spirit of the rules, were not in fact a violation of the word of the rules. Therefore I must confess that I am a hypocrite for slandering him and forcing the game to reboot on that behalf.
This will be my last post on this topic, but come on...It was quite clearly not in the spirit of the rules...It's like tax avoidance vs tax evasion...Sure you may avoid legally, but the minute (decade) the authorities find out what you're doing they amend the tax laws to prevent it from occurring again. Even though A<3 didn't specify it in the rules he ended the game when he found out what was going on.Two wrote:

it just would be nicer if you were completely honest and admitted that you knew it really wasn't against the rules in any capacity, and that you simply used it as a tool to get a reset and avoid lynching
thank you though

You're welcome to sign up again if you like, Two; FTR, I apologized to Rolled because I realized that, as SFG stated, though what he did was against the spirit of the rules, it was not against the word of the rules as laid out. Thus, if you can accept my apology to Rolled and take back your comment that I'm a terrible Host, I will allow you to sign up again if you desire. Two wrote:

Alien Role ID wrote:

Werewolf Game Role Identification for [Names]
You are the Aliens (Werewolves).
Identities of the Aliens (Werewolves)
As you are together in a group, your role mandates that you know the identities of those in your group; the Aliens are [insert names here]. This means that there are X of you in total.
Your Obligations
During Night phases, you must start a PM conversation with the other Aliens and somehow come to a consensus as to which of the humans will be killed. If I do not receive a PM from any of you with a name before the Night's deadline, I myself will randomly select a Human to kill.
Overlord
In this game, you Aliens do have an Overlord; the Alien Overlord is [Name]. This means two things:
1) At his option, [Name] has the option to Probe ("Sniff") any Human of their choice each Night. This will reveal that Human's Auxiliary Role, if they have one. This ability cannot be transferred for any reason; only they can exercise this ability, and they must personally PM me saying they want to do it.
2) They are automatically the spokes-Alien for the group when PMing me the kill for the Night, unless they speak with the others and determine otherwise; in that case, they must PM me personally saying that they are deferring that responsibility. Any new, alternate spokes-Alien will not have the ability to Probe; only the Overlord can do that.
When the Overlord Dies
In the event of [Name]'s death, you shall elect a new spokes-Alien to be chosen from among the remaining living Aliens; the new spokesman will not have the ability to Probe.
Restrictions and Limitations
Your role does not come with any restrictions or penalties.
Notes
Remember to act as unsuspicious as possible during Day phases.
Make sure you remember to cast your lynch vote; Wolves with lots on their mind can often forget to do it and wind up with a Phantom Vote against them the next Day!
To confirm your place in this game, you must reply to this PM. You do not need to refer to your role by name in your reply.

Werewolf Game Role Identification for [Name]
You are a Civilian.
(This means you are Human, but it also means you do not possess an Auxiliary Role. Sorry; maybe next time.)
Your Obligations
You have no obligations during any phase outside of casting your lynch vote each Day.
Restrictions and Limitations
Your role does not come with any restrictions or penalties.
To confirm your place in this game, you must reply to this PM. You do not need to refer to your role by name in your reply.
Insomniac Role ID wrote:

Werewolf Game Role Identification for [Name]
You are the Insomniac.
(This means you are Human.)
Your Obligations
Each Night, you must PM me informing me whether or not you were able to sleep that Night.
If you tell me you were able to sleep, nothing will happen.
If, however, you tell me you were unable to sleep, I will inform you of the identity of one of the Aliens (and you may receive information on other roles who happen to be performing actions that same night, depending upon who acts that same Night).
If you fail to PM me before the Night's deadline passes, I will assume you were able to sleep that Night.
Restrictions and Limitations
[Stipulations on progressive discovery are listed here, if they exist.]
Notes
Your Role comes with a progressive price; be careful when and how you use it.

(This means you are Human.)
Your Obligations
Each Night, you must PM me informing me whether or not you will be exercising your ability that Night, which is to discover the role of another player.
If you tell me you will not be doing it, nothing will happen.
If you tell me you are exercising your ability, give me the name of the player you wish to check, and I will reply to your PM with the identity of their Role.
If you fail to PM me before the Night's deadline passes, I will assume you are not acting that Night.

You are the Coroner.
(This means you are Human.)
Your Obligations
You have no Nightly obligations to send me PMs; each Night, I will send you a PM informing you of the exact Role of the player lynched that Day. You will also receive a PM informing you of the Role of the human killed by the Aliens that Night.
If there is a Ninja present in this game, you must specifically inform me that you are expecting a Ninja kill that Night, or I will not inform you of any kills made by any Ninjas that Night; you would then have to wait until the next Night to discover their identity.
Restrictions and Limitations

If you tell me you are not, nothing will happen.
If you are, I will reply to your PM, informing you of how many Aliens remain.

Priest Role ID wrote:

Werewolf Game Role Identification for [Name]
You are the Priest.
(This means you are Human.)
Your Obligations
You have no Nightly obligations to send me any PMs. It is at your option; see below.
One time and one time ONLY, anytime during any phase, Day or Night, you may publicly or privately resurrect one previously-killed player.
If you do this during a Day phase, you have the option of whether you would like to do it publicly, in-thread, or privately, via PM to me. If you perform a public, in-thread resurrection, which will be confirmed by me personally, everyone will see it, and you will be positively identified as a Human. However, though a private resurrection will not publicly identify you as Human, it will allow you the element of surprise. Select wisely.
If you perform your resurrection during a Night phase, your only option is a private resurrection via PM to me. PM me with the name of the person you are resurrecting, and I will PM them, telling them they're back in the game again.
Restrictions and Limitations
You have no restrictions outside only being able to use your ability once.
Also, just a note, your ability cannot be transferred; if you die without using it, your ability dies with you.
To confirm your place in this game, you must reply to this PM. You do not need to refer to your role by name in your reply.

Werewolf Game Role Identification for [Name]
You are the Mad Scientist.
(This means you are Human.)
Your Obligations
Each Night, you must PM me telling me whether or not you will be exercising your ability, which is to treat a player with a vial of your DNA-altering compound.
If you say you're not, nothing will happen.
If you say you are, give me the name of the player, and I will PM that (un?)lucky player and you (as you will stay around long enough to determine the effects) their new Role. If used on someone who possesses an Aux Role, it may be in addition to, or may erase, their previous Role, depending what it is (for example, you can't take away a Vigilante's gun) and the nature of the transformation.
It is possible you may turn any Human, Aux Role or not, into an Alien; if this occurs, the Aliens will be informed of their new member. They may or may not retain their previous Aux Role if they had one, depending on the nature of the transformation.
It is also possible you may end up giving an Alien an Aux Role. Be careful!!!
If you do not PM me before the Night's deadline, I will assume you are not exercising your ability that Night.
Restrictions and Limitations
[Number of vials they have.]
To confirm your place in this game, you must reply to this PM. You do not need to refer to your role by name in your reply.
Now nobody can argue about what's in an ID and what's not, and nobody can falsely claim anyone quoted one, because they're all right here minus names and discovery stips.Vigilante Role ID wrote:

Werewolf Game Role Identification for [Name]
You are a Vigilante.
(This means you are Human.)
Your Obligations
You have no Nightly obligations; your Role acts during the Day. See below.
One time and one time ONLY, anytime during any Day phase, you may publicly declare your role, and shoot and kill any one other player of your choice. This MUST be confirmed BY ME PERSONALLY. This will have two effects:
1) Once I confirm your kill in-thread, that person is dead immediately, no questions asked.
2) As that is a public action confirmed by the Host, it will positively identify you to everyone as a Human.
Restrictions and Limitations
You only have one bullet, and can thus use your ability only one time.
Also, obviously, you can't rethink or take back a kill once it's made (unless there's a Priest and you know who they are...?), so be certain of your target before you do it!
