@Ephemeral: speaker amp is under desk to the right on a little shelf (yamaha AV amp). Desk is custom-made pine (and actually runs across the whole room).
@strager: yes it is a mamba. swapped from g7 a few weeks back due to a horribly broken scroll wheel. it works great, but battery life is questionable. i've never really considered lighting actually. i mostly just use ceiling lights (fluorescent).

Yeah, I heard a lot about how much the battery sucks (or how much the mouse sucks up the battery (or both)). Then again, if I got a Mamba I'd probably use it exclusively wired. Any opinions on that? Does it stay? I have heard some people complain the wire doesn't stay attached or something.peppy wrote:
