OK, here's the thing. Choose a ball, any ball. Follow it with your eyes. When it goes out of bounds, trace it on its opposite side from where it fell/disappered from (e.g. if it disappeared to the right, it will appear on the left later)
You will shit bricks to know that it actually tiles properly. Try it, just simply set this image to your wallpaper then Tiled. Note that you might need to identify a few 'teleporters'.
