if you use the skin on a song that uses light hit circle colors, you won't be able to see the numbers. That's why they are usually outlined.

it just looks ugly. Take the original colored hitcircleoverlay.png, drop the transparency down and enhance the highlights. It will add a little bit of depth to the circles. You might also make hitcircle.png a little brighter.
