i love featured game, i got featured on it apparently when ranked was down, it was showing custom and normal games LOL

Featured games were pretty hilarious when ranked was down.

I saw one with two Evelynns and one with full 5 ~2k elo team premade against 5 random guys who didn't even have an ad carry.

You know it's bad when Varus is just out and you have to make a custom just to play Trynd.

I really like playing her mid and these allow to start with both passives lvl1.

Can trade 1 ap for 1 mres, but I like having them both at lvl 1, helps creeping even if just a bit.

Taking a break from "the League" fellow summoners, I simply don't seem to be enjoying anymore after a series of disappointing and demoralising results. I think I've become overly competitive, I've noticed that the enjoyment I receive from the game has fallen. Might return after a few months if the interest returns.

When I played Akali often, I used almost the same runes, but had scaling mRes instand of flat. Never played her at mid, though.

That is pretty much the only legit way of playing Akali

Are those MR quints? Dafuq.

My akali runes are: AD reds, health/level yellows, AP blues, and a flat hp quint and 2 AP quints, same as Westrice minus the magic pen reds

You can play quite aggressively in lane, even in the early levels if you're smart about it. Unless you're against someone like Cassiopeia -.-

I run full ad reds since I find 2 mpen quite useless while having 2 bonus ad is useful at creeping, most of the time you're gonna lasthit'n'run trying to save your q just in case during early levels mid. It also increases spellvamp by a tiny bit lol.

Don't like the hp quints on her either, flat ap allows me to get mres, which gives a lot more survivability, or ap/lvl glyphs while still retaining both passives.

I believe my runepage is better. Minor damage reduction compared to max possible while increased damage trading survivability. And no need to invest over 21 points in 1st mastery tree too.



And also, technically speaking, you don't really need the bonus damage passive much, it's still good if you can get it by lvl 5 or 6 and actually ok if you don't have it until buying ap items. That is, if your rune page is tuned towards survivability.

I think already in the next patch there will be the newer designed Summoner's Rift. People on the PBE already said that it increased their fps from 10-20 to stable 50-60 so yeah..
You can also try to keep Shadows on low or just turn them off. Also helps.

Ye i've seen the patch preview. Hope patch is out next tuesday, although it probably wont.

I'm probably looking forward to the next patch more than I have any other patch ever.

At most, nasus needs a sheen. Early-game. Triforce is a waste on him. It gives him attack speed (which he doesn't need) attack damage (which he doesn't need) crit (which he doesn't really need) ability power (which he REALLY doesn't need), a slow proc (which he doesn't need) and no CDR or tank stats other than some health. Admittedly, the movement speed is nice, but hey - Wither. And he already has ghost if he really, really, really wants to catch someone.

Frozen heart is far better on a nasus that can farm. - he gains from every single one of the stats - Mana, Armor for tank, CDR for more Q spam (CDR is far more effective the more you have, considering his reverie that 20% cd gives him way more damage, and he has the attack speed aura to boot. On top of that, his build gives him plenty of HP already, so the defensive stats of the FH are compounded - while a trinity would just add another 350hp with no extra mitigation. Seeing as most of the entire enemy team is AD, he likely rushed the glacial shroud to stay strong in lane (likely against Tryndamere or Warwick, if it was tryndamere even better), which is a very good idea.

If you really wanted a triforce on that nasus, he'd need to finish the randuin's, then sell the aegis and get a full tri-force at end-game, which this game was nowhere near. At that point, it's even more arguable that if he kept farming, a triforce would be needed even less, because the bonus dmg from tri is flat while he can keep farming Q.


Buying a trinity force on nasus is like buying ~50CS for your Q. It's pretty silly. CDR is far better for near 90% uptime on wither, more Q farming, and more Qs overall.

tl;dr, sheen and triforce are respectively paying 1.2k for 20-30cs on q and 4k for ~50cs on q, far better to get more tanky and CDR at all points in the game.

triforce was gonna be my next item. but then they surrendered.
i usually get sheen near the start, after i get my 2 gp5 items, but i just skipped it this time

and yea i was up against tryndamere in lane (who i destroyed btw:P) i also had the ninja tabi at the start but sold it for merc threads when i had plenty of armor.

triforce is kind of too expensive as a normal game with less than 30 minutes long, as if your jungler is not that tanky, your team will fall quite soon in group battle.

frozenheart is a really nice item for anti-carriers and top solo fighters, of course not for the first item.
aegis is really nice as a first choice, if you can join the dragon battles (it's not hard to get before the 2nd dragon
