No need to wait for an Officially Sanctioned Kart Party. Just yell "kartparty" in #videogames and see who shows. I'm on most of the day on weekends. (not in the osu! client, but I keep IRC open)
Note that if you're like me and play far away from your comp then you get to experience the joy of regularly checking your Friends List to see what's going on.Soaprman wrote:
Also, if you play reasonably close to your computer and have a headset, consider joining us on Skype while we play! Nothing like trash talk in real time.
Yesss it's out! Finally Wuhu Mountain Loop will be playable online without everybody abusing the bug.Dangaard wrote:
So, they released a patch version today which fixed some unwanted shortcuts and is obligatory for online matches.
Thank god! Playing "that" track will finally be fun again.Dangaard wrote:

Sorry,tonight I can't D:Mianki wrote:
Any European players up to a kartaparty tonight?
Go to eShop, the download patch is there.yellowyoshi1996 wrote:
It seems like that I have to update the game...otherwise I can't play online =A=
Totally! but when.... I can't do far too late thoughMianki wrote:

Don't people try to read what they download?Ekaru wrote:
Alright, I actually did spam Maka Wuhu until it got picked.
This one guy spent the entire race trying to do the glitch. I'm serious. And it was pure, comedic gold.
Unfortunately, our room didn't contain any members of the Lowest Common Denominator. D:Blazevoir wrote:
I still wonder how many people are still trying the glitches, lol.
...
*spams Maku Wuhu and Wuhu Loop for the lulz*
I was downstairs the whole time! XD I should really get one of those WiFi Range booster thingies sometime, though, so I can play in my room without getting D/C'd. They're kinda pricey, but it'd probably be worth it just so I could play MK7 on my bed.Blazevoir wrote:
Dammit, lol. Oh well. Was nice trying.
Still, Maka Wuhu (even before I knew about the exploit) was one of my fave tracks, so it's nice to race on it normally on Worldwide again \o/
P.S. Y u no talk on osu! while we kartparty? >=c
Version 1.1 (May 15, 2012) [43 SD Card blocks]
Resolved shortcut exploits for Wuhu Island Loop, Wuhu Mountain Loop, and Bowser Castle 1 when playing online. Does not affect offline play; the exploits remain in Single Player and Local Multiplayer, and ghosts that used these exploits are unaffected.
It did. It also fixed the GBA Bowser Castle 1 glitch. Those are the only 3 glitches it fixed, though, but those are the only ones that really had an impact on online gameplay and that were significant and game-breaking.pieguy1372 wrote:
I wonder if it also fixed the Wuhu Loop glitch
But you don't get to experience the joy of accidentally drafting during the u-turn section or being pushed out of alignment and falling to your doom! ...Actually, I'd never fallen off on that course before today, but I kept on falling off on it today, so I picked that course again solely out of spite because I'm an ass. <3Soaprman wrote:
Toad Circuit is way bester. Makes for much more interesting races.
Because they could.bomber34 wrote:
Neo Bowser City is this rainy track, isn't it?
Why the hell does the german version call it Koopa Metropolis Fever? ^^ It gets really confusing if you talk about a track which i never really heard before.
I'm referring to the 9 PM one yesterday. What happened to you makes it even funnier, though. XDbomber34 wrote:
What do you mean exactly? Because we had 2 kartparties yesterday ... the first one where i participated there was this bowser guy who spammed it and got it all the time .... I was a bit pissed, because I am not a big fan of this track.
I don't know how many times in a row we got this track, but really... it was to much

Oh crap... I didn't realize Nintendo put up their own community as well as a competition...
More info on Club Nintendo's homepage, though it's most likely too late to try to get 1st-3rd...

I hate you so much.Soaprman wrote:
Anyone who wants a "Marred to: Toad Circuit" sig image, tell me (maybe via PM to not clog up the thread? I know demand will be hot). If you have a specific color request, mention that too!
It's full of bullshit, which makes it fun.bomber34 wrote:
Btw: What is so special about Toad Circuit that you guys are so crazy about that track?
I wish everyone who plays MK7 could join us ;~; (And yeah, my bad x.x)bomber34 wrote:
Why else do you think i wrote it withstrike?
I really would like to join the party but due to stupid time zones it is almost impossible to have a time that everyone is fine with ._.
Btw: What is so special about Toad Circuit that you guys are so crazy about that track?
Also expect a lot of last-minute stars and triple shrooms that take both shortcuts on the last lap to ride right by you.Blazevoir wrote:
Anyway, despite how "safe" Toad Circuit looks, expect tons of item rape compared to other tracks... seriously!
