Do you drink energy boosting beverages?

Keep drinking that pussy, Rokodo.

I recall getting chest pains after I had consumed 3 Monsters in a day. I thought I was going through cardiac arrest, but that wasn't the case. Since then, I made sure not to take more than one a day. Though, I have coffee more than anything now, but it doesn't have much effect on my osu! performance.

I'm one of the only people I know who don't drink any sort of energy drink or coffee. Both make me vomit.

Seriously though most energy drinks smell like cancerous death. I don't know how people can smell it and still drink it

I have had a lifetime combined total of:

1 drop of energy drink
1/4 a cup of coffee (combining all types)
15 cups of watered down green tea (average time of effect for each cup is 16 hours, I usually drink in half cups)
2 drops of coke/pepsi

-

Caffeine and I are a volatile mix, I tend to avoid it at all costs unless I need some artificial consciousness for a test or something. My theory is, is that if I have a cup of coffee I will not sleep for 2 days. If I have an energy drink I will die of a heart attack.

I enjoy coffee (with an ample amount of of sugar & cream ofc <3) but i'm very sensitive to caffeine( including chocolate ;__;). Decaf helps a little, but if I drink it after 2 pm count on me not having a wink of sleep \:D/

Tea is also good (any kind, really)~

I used to drink energy drinks for the sole purpose of playing osu! better. It significantly affected my performance (in a good way, mind you). Then I started messing with my old ADHD medicine because I wanted that same skill boost and ended up getting addicted to speed for about a month. I found out later that I was one pill away from overdosing myself and possibly killing myself. True story. Don't do drugs, kids.

Coffee is disgusting too.

sports drinks are made for elite, extreme athletes that go all out in what they do, like doing a marathon. Most people don't fit that description when drinking a sports drink.

the amount of physical exercise you need to do in order to actually need the benefits sports drinks provide is alot higher than what regular people ever do. water is better 99% of the time

Although I do occasionally drink some soda too.

I didn't say that they were better than anything.

They are definitely not designed specifically for international sports champions or Olympic athletes and no one else.

Used to drink Coke and energy drinks (but only before league matches in other games and I was feeling tired). Kinda screwed up my teeth, so it's basically all coffee for me.

I would say "it's unhealthy, it's bad for you etc etc etc" but once you've committed to drinking something as volatile as an energy drink I doubt you'd care xD

I usually have some Monster, but very rarely. Usually don't have much money afterward to afford any.

As for Shiirn, she drinks Red Bull. Dunno how.

Coffee. I typically drink it in the morning to wake me up. I also enjoy the taste, so sometimes I'll just randomly have a coffee at some other random time of day x3 It's also a great beverage for when you're cold (and an iced coffee does you good if it's too hot). As for energy drinks, I've taken a single sip of various energy drinks...still don't like the taste of ANY of them. Tea is kind of hit or miss, some I like and some I don't.

@soly: nice post, would make a good Monster commercial geared towards the osu userbase xP

I never had a liking towards lemonade, it was always too sour for me and I never liked the way it made my throat feel afterwards. I don't mind some variations of it though, like I can handle some strawberry lemonades and limeade usually isn't a bother for me.

The only times I really grab energy drinks are when I need a huge amount of energy for a short amount of time. Energy drink crashes are horrible.

So, instead, I just drink tons of coffee. Not because I'm addicted to caffeine, per se, but because I fucking love coffee.

Red bull is shit
Battery gives me a headache
Jussi energy drink would be suitable for cleaning windows
Starter tastes bad
Monster so far is the only decent one...i've had a few cans but not addicted to it

That's why I drink Vitaminwater Energy all day, every day.
Doc wants me to 80oz (4 bottles) every day.

I drink tea and coffee. All the energy boosting that I need. Those and Cola. Having said that, I kind of like the taste of Rouge Bull, so I'd drink it if I was offered/felt especially desperate for refreshment.

I need that minimum of 0,6l of coffee in order to wake up in the morning. Energy drinks always when available. And if too lazy to make coffee, my last resort is caffeine pills. Caffeine is indeed te elixir of life

I would have to say I do this ^ but I also have my fair share of water when I'm attending school or some sort, I might throw in an energy drink probably once a month for school purposes but that's it.

I have tea, coffee & the normal Asian stuff when I'm at home as long as I have water. I have more energy drinks when it's a break or a weekend. I might even drink 3 every 2 days if I really crave it.

as if thats gonna happen, you need to drink tons of energydrink every day to even be in danger.

when i went to school i drank about 2 cans of energydrink every day, after i quit school i stopped for 2 years, but now that im back in school i cant stay awake without it anymore, so i drink 1 can every day i go to school.
i also drink a bottle of coke every now and then.
