You're... missing out on a really great series... Why people might think it sucks is because it combines the Final Fantasy universe with Disney characters, but other than that the story's pretty awesome. The battles take place in real-time and can happen just about anywhere, so there's no annoying "going into battle" or loading screens beforehand (though bosses might take a while to set up).

Umm... yeah... You'll have to ask someone else about the story... I suck at explaining...

I just buy it (after RE and MGS3D) and then i will see it myself :3

I've tried one of the KH games and didn't like it.

No hate on anybody who does though, and that's not even a recommendation against it in particular.

I played the first KH and it was kind of boring... combat just felt really uninteresting. I quit around Halloween Town. I've heard the later games are better though.

KH2 is a revamp of the first game in terms of just about everything (including the Gummy Ship battles but mainly the combat system). The handheld ones (for the GBA and DS) either just connect the two games or tell events that happened before a certain game. I'm not sure how Birth by Sleep (for the PSP) comes in play though since I've never played it...

And just to keep things in topic: I wonder what KH3D will follow...

Yeah, BBS is like a prologue to the series. And the secret ending gives the start to KH3D. So if you want to understand the story better in KH3D, you should play BBS first.

TWEWY will be summarized in game, since Neku, Shki, Beat and Rhyme are being introduced to the kingdom hearts series for the first time. However i could also give you all you need to know about them in two sentences. The TWEWY characters are all dead and are stuck in the reapers game, a game in which they have to complete missions in pairs to survive. The winner of the game gets to come back to life; in KH:3D they are mysteriously sent to traverse town for reasons no one knows as of yet.

So... I'm pretty sure most of you already heard of and/or seen the trailers of Kid Icarus: Uprising (if you haven't, check the Nintendo Direct section on eShop). My question is: is it worth getting? I know it has an online battle mode, but it seems kinda basic...

I used to love Mario Party but idk it just getting worse with this rail levels and those Minigames were bad in 8 IMO.
But i keep an eye on it :) this whole "look i have to shake my wiimote to play, yay :D" stuff should be over now.

Yup, and Masahiro Sakurai looks hot young for 41 o.o.

The single player gameplay/battles don't look intricate enough to keep me interested. Spinning in circles and tapping...umm, okay? Although, I've never played a Kid Icarus game before. Is this really all there is to this game/series? o_O

It felt like Nintendo knew single player was a flop and were trying to use the online/multiplayer as a selling point. Nintendo, it does not play like SuperSmash Bros so stop saying it does :U (Besides, it reminds me more of the the Dragon Ball Z or the Naruto:Ninja Storm games -ie: how characters maneuver across the stage and use projectiles :P).


Conclusion: I won't be in a hurry to get this game when it come out. Multiplayer looks really fun. Yes it's basic, but I don't think fighter games ever really get old. I can see myself battling friends for hours if we were to get the game. Of course I know I'll suck as I do in every other fighting game I play XD (then again, those long range weapons...ooh, me want to spam!) . My getting this game depends on the reviews it gets after release and the number of my friends willing to buy the game as well.

Bought Resident Evil Revelations recently :D I love it, it is better than the demo.
Only downside ... german voice acting ... I have never seen anything that bad in 5 years xD
good thing i can switch to english.

There are good games for 3DS like Mario Kart 7, Super Mario Land, Ocarina of Time, Resident Evil Revelations and more are coming. But I dunno about spending all your money on it.

You can make your very own Mario Kart 9 by taping your copy of Mario Kart 7 to 2/7 of another copy of Mario Kart 7. And then you just have to mod your 3DS so the new cart fits.

Eh... I'm not getting it unless I'm convinced it's not just a simple shooter/beat-'em-up. I know you can up the difficulty, but what I mean is if you can use powerups during flying and/or land battles.

Let's talk about Heroes of Ruin for a second, because I am a bit interested in this game.
To be honest i don't know much about it except that the gameplay is similar to Diablo (at least i think it is). I'm not sure if it has random dungeons like Diablo but everything else seems similar.
I think it would be nice if this game has a MP where you could play with firends to kill hard monsters and so on but this game is published by Square and developed by n-space.
I don't know any good game from n-space ... they did crap like Duke Nukem Time to Kill and those CoD ports for the DS. They all sucked D:

I just wanna know what you guys think of it ^^

Each Monster hunte game is generally a self-contained game, where you wash ashore/drift into the village as a wanderer, and make a name for yourself in the respective village.

I'm sure these ones will be no different.

Just beat Shinobi. Realised I was near the end of the game actually. I finished it with plenty of Save & Quit abuse involved to save lives and having to do the whole level over again.
Still need to get Snake Eater 3D and before any of you ask, no Kid Icarus: Uprising is not out here yet. It's coming this week though.

Do you have played it on PS2? or do you have a PS3 or Xbox? because the HD Remake has the same price and it has 3 MGS games (mgs3 included with MG1 and 2).

Snake Eater 3D got pretty bad reviews so I wouldn't suggest bying it. It has less content than PS2 and HD versions and the control scheme is bad.

I've played the original on PS2 but not Substinence. Can't be bothered with the HD Collection because MGS2 means dealing with Raiden for the rest of the game after about 2 hours into it and I can't be bothered with Peace Walker for some reason.
I mean, it hasn't even been a whole year since I played and finished Snake Eater on PS2. This is my issue with games I technically already have. I simply cannot tell whether I should buy a rerelease or not unless they add plenty of new content rather than porting it (Zelda and Star Fox were no-brainers though. I bought both.)
I hear that it's not perfect but still a great port. Besides, I still need to get The Last Story anyway.

I didn't buy it at first because it was too expensive. Now, if I buy it, a new DS will come out in a week and I will be behind again. No use trying to keep up ._. Also, the 3D hurts my head. Not worth it for me...

I usually play with the 3D turned off because I like holding it at weird angles that aren't 3D friendly. But sometimes I turn it on when something happens that gets me thinking "wonder how cool this would look in 3D".

The battery life's also not so bad if you play with the 3D off and the brightness on a lower-than-maximum setting (I use brightness 2 or 1 depending on the lighting in the room).

Yeah, I don't use 3D all that much either, just only when I NEED it. I sometimes cut it on while I'm charging my 3DS, though.

I only use 1 when not playing with a charger, regardless of my location. Oddly enough, I rarely use 5 even WITH a charger.

I use the 3D almost all the time and strangley enough it works out fine for me without any problems. I only ever play with it off when the battery starts to get low or when I turn the slider down by accident without noticing.

Well, that seems to be the main difference between my DS Lite and a 3DS, so wouldn't want to spend that much money on a feature I won't even use.

Yeah, but some games are exclusive to the 3DS, so I don't even think of it as a DS Lite when I don't use the 3D effects.

I was just saying that chances are, I won't be able to join any kartparties because of my timezone. (and my body clock)
Rantai seems to be able to manage to join though.
