i dont get why people think they need a massive power supplies when the hardware doesn't need it. maybe when i throw waterblocks on my two 5870's and overclock them i'll need more than 850w, but stock clocks, i dont.

Would you say an online powercalculator like this one would give the most accurate power-consumption of a build, opposed to the amount given on the site of the GPU?

I'm sorry, I should probably post my setup to make up for this totally off-topic post. But it hasn't really changed since last time, so just read back a few pages.

To begin with, I have #2 and #3 already. As for #1, oh most certainly not!
Though you'd be surprised how successfully I can ask for a (slightly) higher price when the original packaging is present. Speaking from experience mind you, not just some silly delusion of mine.

When #2 and #3 are already present, potential buyers tend to associate the presence of the original packaging with good maintenance and the relative 'newness' of the product. Just what I think, not quoted from anywhere.

But of course, the latter 2 points are priorities I know - pretty common sense.
