Werewolf Game #2: The Shinra Assassins
As had been the case for the first Werewolf Game, the twenty-six participants had signed up for another exciting game where their lives would be on the line (which, this time, was made quite clear in the paperwork). They stayed the night in Costa Del Sol the night before, and were then flown to the game location in the morning.
Dawn
The jet landed in the military seaside town of Junon.
The twenty-six disembarked, and this time, Ace personally guided the group to the rail station's presentation room.
He chatted briefly with several of them on the way, answering questions; he told them his own life was not in danger due to the nature of this season's game, which was all he knew at the time.
They were all seated, and on the projection screen appeared none other than Rufus Shinra.
Rufus greeted the group: "Welcome to the second season of The Werewolf Game. Some of you are from the first Werewolf Game, and were revived with Life magic so you could be with us again today. This promises to be an interesting season, as we have twenty-six contestants this time around, and my scientists have confirmed that several of you have magical abilities or other talents.
Now the shockers begin.
One of you has been a member of the elite Shinra force known as the Turks all along, and several of you have been distributed Shira Assassin IDs; you have been chosen to assist that Turks member in a mission to kill the others one at a time each night in this game.
The rest of you, however, are not entirely defenseless. As I mentioned, several of you have special abilities, and for the sake of giving you a fighting chance to increase the ratings, we've allowed a few of you to smuggle materia into Junon with you to assist you in determining who should die.
Oh yes, unlike those who I heard complained about the gallows in the last Werewolf Game, I assure you the manner of death for this season will be well-liked by all: this season, you will be casting Execution Votes, and whoever has the most votes against them at the end of the day will be strapped in and executed in our gas chamber.
Like the previous Werewolf Game before it, this one too will be well-televised, especially the executions. You'll even be allowed last words before we turn on the gas if you want. The public loves a tearful goodbye. ...although, they do also usually enjoy people cursing life or other people...but whatever.
Now for the terms of victory.
Wiping out my Turks member will not net you an automatic victory, but it will likely go a long way; the Assassins are authorized to act even in the absence of their leader. In order to gain victory, you must methodically execute all of my Assassins, including my Turks member. If you can manage to do this, you win, and will be awarded ten million Gil and an ultimate weapon and armor of your choice apiece.
However, should the Assassins hopelessly outnumber the ordinary townspeople...well, I guess you'd better pray that doesn't happen - even that spiky-haired bastard won't be able to save you then.
Well, Junon is yours to roam; feel free to pick up any food and drink you may need from the shops and bars, although we've removed all the healing and life-giving items from our inventories. I...wouldn't try to escape...for this game, we've got a 25-foot-high electric fence with razor wire guarded by Dragoons 24 hours a day. You would never make it out alive.
I suppose that covers it. The rail station's presentation room, where you are now, will be accessible as a "town square" of sorts, but the gas chamber will be very heavily guarded so no one can use it until execution time at sundown.
You each have your own house in town and a map that will help you find your way around; you're free to go.
Enjoy; depending on your spirit and wit, these may be the last days of your lives."
After the presentation, the participants were allowed to begin their daily routines.

You should lynch people based on suspicion, not playstyle. Lynching because someone is annoying is more likely to get a civillian lynched than an assassin. :3
You should lynch people based on suspicion, not playstyle. Lynching because someone is annoying is more likely to get a civillian lynched than an assassin. :3
Olinad gets to the Town Square and looks around. The town looks kinda old, but it's fascinating indeed!

He walks around, looking for something to do, but he doesn't seem to find anything interesting. So he sits against a wall in the Town Square and looks the other players around him, looking at anyone that could be suspicious...
"Uhm... Kuwarudo may be an Assassin as he could be a Villager or my grandma camouflaged to look like a fat cow... I only know he's kinda annoying. But anyway, I like reading, so I guess it's ok if he's no social life and enjoys writing plenty of posts..."
While scratching the tip of his nose, he hears a voice coming from the other side of the Square. "I need to know the other players to have a better idea of them... let's go". He ran to reach Suburu, that was shouting out loud to catch anyone's attention and tried to understand what she was saying. "Uhm, well, an Insomniac? We'll see... that's something to keep a note of..." He passes the following ten minutes trying to understand who to vote, scribbling on a piece of paper with his writing feather and his green ink, but he doesn't get anywhere... So he decides to get back to the spot he was laying in before and have a nap, at least until anyone decided to annoy him with another cryed announcement or with useless questioning...
Lots of useless considerations and RPG-like storytelling. Vague thinking on Kuwarudo, that end up in "ow I don't care, write as much as you want", and scepticism about Suburu's announcement... I don't really know who to trust in this game, I never played it online! XD

kuwarudo: can you stop posting crap? there's no obligation to make a post in response to everyone else. Seriously, I feel like going through and deleting all the useless posts. I personally agree with Todesenagal's way with dealing against Kuwarudo.
I pretty much hated his style on this second game.
Luckily she voted against him already, and knowing that he will be the one getting lynched, i will save my vote and use it for good.
I will play as wisely as i played the previous game.. if not more.
Already have 2 possible assassins.
I'm not the type of player who sais his role. So i'll just say this:
I will be voting for killing, unluckily... this time, the night is not my friend.

heee opens the door only to find out that there are many people arguing with each other on how annoying the others are.
"just another day, eh"
he then closes the door and heads back to bed.
Alarms ring and he suddenly remembers that he has been sent to the game.
As he realizes that he is late, he doesn't know how he will ever catch up on what was happening that day(s),
there was only one way to review the arguments of the others
he remembers that he set a "one-time-use" surveillance camera onto the roof of his house.
"I knew this would come in handy."
"Wait, this seems odd," the camera was facing in another direction
On the tape was nothing but a static image of the town, almost as if a painting was placed in front of it.
The audio was another kind of static, that of which is used for the term of a buzzing noise.
eee examines the camera
The camera was soggy, drenched with rainwater. The lens was smudged with what seemed to be somebody elses fingerprints, awkwardly, fat fingerprints. as if somebody has touched it.
eee is no expert on investigation, so he took a quick guess on one of the contestants.

eee came to a verdict

Why the heck did Suburu claim a role already? What use would that have but getting himself suspicious. And this is exactly what I think. Suburu is one of the super few people that doesn't want Kuu dead. Maybe Kuu and Suburu, and some of the other people who voted for Tode because of I DON'T KNOW WHY, are ass(assin)(e)s? Of course I can't be sure.. but that's my first guess. Since however I cannot be sure that Suburu lied, I'll just stay with my Kuwarudo lynch.

I don't buy the whole Subaru is just nice thing, and frankly I agree with a lot of what Larto is saying. Seeing as it's far too early to know anything for sure... I just can't believe that the Insomniac would give out their role like that on day 1. Isn't that asking to get killed by the assassins?
