Note that the two games will still be treated separately. (One game can get a Town win, the other a Mafia win)
Also that the roles of both games will be determined separately.

Make sure the game you are in as town is a Town win, and the game you end up as mafia is a Mafia win?

Is mafia going to be different for both games? If it weren't we may have a problem, like

Bob is mafia in game #1 and town in game #1

Sam is Town in game#1 and mafia in game #2

Bob knows Sam is mafia in game #2 and vice versa.

If both tries to win in both games, they would have to lynch their buddy, which rules out the purpose of the mafia chat. They cannot work together.

The two Mafias are separate; they can't interact with each other unless one guy is mafia on both sides and acts like a mailman.

We currently have one game in queue, from what I've seen (and isn't like "let's (not) do this" for the past seven posts) and three [well, four, but that one's been inactive for a while] games going on (two of them seem to be on hiatus, however).

I honestly don't want to start right now, but if you want, I can do so. I'm prepared.

Problem is lots of people skip the queue and start games of their own.
I think we need to confirm with all the hosts whether they should start a game of their own.
Better yet, we could do something like what I saw on another forum - make a list and everyone who wants to host should post the list, so it'll be constantly updated.

There's about 50+

And yes, I can. There's only a certain limit to how many characters you can choose... and even if you decide not to choose, that's at least...40 other roles I can choose from.

I want to start a mafia game, except with a slight twist.

Every player other than salvage and wojjan have post restrictions allowing them to only vote.
and those players can be replaced by either salvage and wojjan when either of them inevitably die.

I'll call it "winter break @ osu!mafia" Signups starting soon.

strongman/roleblocker were the only roles, we had a mafia lover trying to screw us a useless goon role and a voyeur which doesn't even make sense

meanwhile town got multiple vigilante roles cop/tracker/reporter/masons/motivators/seraph knight/commuter and bus driver

it was impossible to win, town pretty much had lots of informative roles who got crucial inforamtion N1 and we started to depend the win on nobosy noticing the voyeur being mafia lol.

Like I said, I did want Salvage to be a JOAT mafia and I know that would have done something. Things will be watered down in terms of roles anyway. I seriously think mafia could have won with that setup if they didn't target Two D1.
