Just because you people had no difficulty reading those sliders doesn't mean that everybody else didn't have trouble reading them. For example, I had trouble reading it therefore I got a combo break.

So you know what? Just stop complaining yourselves about getting this re-ranked. It's already unranked now, and it'd just be plain out silly to rerank it without changing anything.

Stuff happens. Get over it. Now, stop posting in this thread if all you're going to post is 'Those sliders are completely readable and playable!'. Stop quoting everybody saying that, too. It's getting annoying.

Vice versa Just because you had difficulty reading those sliders doesn't mean tha everybody else did. Stopping posting and stopping complaining won't make you any more cool or smart. People complain for a reason, if you want to stay quiet, go on.

All these "stop being childish, kids" posts are super dumb, how is voicing disagreement a childish act? What era are you living in? Threads are here to post your opinions and that's what people do.

Sorry, I don't think you understand what i'm saying. In most maps of this time, sliders like this aren't ranked and it is very unusual to sight-read this if you're a beginning player and/or have never seen them yourself, before.

It's not like I want to be cool or smart. I just want to voice my opinion, too, hey. Are you against that? I hope not.

Also, voicing disagreement is fine, but the amount of people repeating the same thing over and over again is getting quite annoying.

Well, let's accept the assumption that some people can't sightread this:

Then based the logic of the rule:
Can't sightread ---- Can't follow ---- Combo Break ---- FFFFFFFFFFF

But in this kind of slider, you don't need to move anywhere so it really breaks at "Can't follow", you don't need to know it goes 30 or 45 degrees top-right or whatever direction, as long as it's not more than a sliderball size, you can just get the combo by holding there (or move in the line between them)

So you see...? Players should be able to play this at first try (and seems most of them really do), and some of the players really love it, then what's the point to say it's not good just because it breaks the rule? Plz, again, rules are made to serve the players, not just a cold rule there.

Sliders like this should really be an exception of that part of rule.

Oh dear god more drama, there was once a map unranked for the exact same reason, so you should have seen this coming, Holding a slider in place is not how you're supposed to play a slider, you're supposed to follow the path, though i thought you guys were in favor of following a slider feel?.

Really there was only a small issue, and you guys are making a sea of drama over it, its not like we're asking the mapepr to remake every difficulty, a simple fix will lead to a quick rerank, unnecessary drama will lead to a thread lock and more trouble for the mapper, if you really want to help the mapper you need to learn to control yourselves a bit.

The guidelines arent there just for decoration, i cant mod right now because i cant stay online long enough to download a map, check it and post, so i cant really see how playable it is or not, however i dont like when unranks have to happen, instead the issues should try to be fixed before the map gets ranked.

Play skill has nothing to do with the reason of the unrank, play skill is never a measure for any guideline, a guideline is a standard that all maps should be following, not a guideline that higher difficulty tiers are exempt from, if you think play skill is related to the way guidelines are created then i suggest you look for another game, because this game tries to at least give a fun experience that all players can enjoy, only difference is that instead of a limited group of people making the maps, we allow the community to participate in making the maps as well, this is the reason why guidelines must be created and followed, they may be fun to play indeed, but not for everyone, unless something is fun and readable for everyone it isnt except from a guideline in existence.
