There have to be more things for the analyzer to do than just finding out who the sapper is, right?...

Mod: Can mafia transfer to their partner? Does the analyzer find out who their target's target was? Does the analyzer only learn about their target's actions, or also if people targeted their target?

The analyzer is a specified follower that receives two types of results, charge transferral and non-charge transferral. I won't tell you what goes under what, but it is possible for the analyzer to find other roles if they know how to infer from the results. And followers do not know who the target targeted, just what their actions were.

And yeah Mafia can self-transfer.

So it can detect more than just charge transferal if I read right....

So it might be in our best interest for everyone to do nothing. Analyser does his thing on someone at random if a charge was transferred then the person is a mafia if a non-charge transfer was detected then the person is mafia and if nothing is detected then they are town.

Sure the mafia could do nothing too but that would mean no night kill/cop/sap.

I'm kind of dry to be honest, there doesn't seem to be a great way to use our roles.

More - no one do a charge at all. Let the mafia be the only active people. But that means the doctor doesn't do anything which can be a problem...

no lynch is the worst possible option in any game.
it just gives another kill to mafia.

but then again, that's a double edged sword if you target lynch wrong.

No Lynch isn't always bad on day 1.
It then generates more discussion on day 2 and we learn some things about the mafia. Plus we don't risk the chance of mislynch.
But a No lynch on like day 3/4 would be horrible.

I'm pretty sure what Backfire needs cleared up is that everyone basically had higher expectations for Dusty as a Mafia player.

I -may- be still up when newbie returns which will be in about 3-4 hours but no promises.

Otherwise at this rate it's looking pretty slim he'll get out of being lynched today.

But especially you, since you said you'd be OK with a no lynch to get more information or whatever, even though the mafia have basically sap-fueled unlimited-charge rolecop and what amounts to a permanent roleblock (barring the recharger getting lucky). And there was also the part where you voted DxS and seem to be pretty open to jumping on wagons, although you haven't actually voted for Newbie. Anyway, my initial reaction to you, Dusty, joining, was that I didn't see you as the Mafia playing type. Also remember that "y'all" aren't Mafia. There's only 2 of them if you haven't noticed.

My thinking for the two is Newbie and DxS or Backfire. Then again, Sync hardly not saying anything doesn't really help him.

Yeah, there are only 2 mafia. What I meant more was that y'all are like Schrodinger's townie, both mafia and town at the same time.

ah well, before night comes, is there a consensus on whether we should transfer at night or not? I still think it might be a good idea, because there should be something better than Rantai's plan, even if we don't know what it is...

The robots discussed with each other for the first day, and as the discussion grew heated, people started suspecting a certain someone of being corrupted.
This robot speaks of Death and Death Gods often, despite them being human concepts mostly. He has always been weird, but when one of you could turn on everyone at any time, being weird doesn't help.

Five of you ganged up on him, and pushed him down the incinerator, but not before ripping his chip out of his head and taking it to a working scanner.

*Scanning... chip successfully scanned. Results:*
DeathxShinigami - Worker Robot - Vanilla Townie - Lynched Day 1 [2 Charges as of death]

Seeing the mistake, one of you quickly run to the incinerator, but it was too late.

On the bright side, some power is getting back on... Just at the wrong places.

All of you decide to go and have some rest, perhaps things will be clearer tomorrow.

After a rather peaceful night, everyone met up beside the scanner. Well, everyone except Rantai.
You found him near the trash compactor which had power returned during the night. What's left of him, anyway. Fortunately, his chip was not destroyed.

Funny how only the destructive devices are turning on.

so krzy didn't bring up being charged by newbie last night
interesting
see I'd expect a townie to wonder who they got the charge from or at least tell us something changed, but the two corrupt bots have one pool of charges, and a sapper who can sap any number up to three (probably dependant on the target's amount) so changes would be a lot harder to notice.
