Dude, that's pretty awesome. Dethklok is pretty kickass.

Now there just needs to be a reason to have them and we're set

If that one's not good, then I can think of 9 others that aren't either. I'd be more happy if they made a FFXII HD remake, but I know I'm one of the only people who liked that game. I've only ever played X, XII, and XIII though, so as far as I'm concerned, X is pretty good. I know Rolled would be super thrilled about FFX HD.

Wakka is the most useful character iirc - I can't recall the use of Rikku's limit break but Wakka's does 1.2 million damage when maxed, which is much better than anyone else's that I can recallampzz wrote:
In regards to Wakka, I sort of wished he had of been like Tifa and Zell from FFVII/I and used his fists.
Would've made him a lot more useful and worth leveling.
No, I spent it on anime games.foulcoon wrote:
spent it on cornbread again, huh Ival?
P.S. - I'm only on episode 2 of disgaea 4 (sayud panduh) and I'm already tired of sardines.
Lulu's still the most useful for me. She can ruin pretty much any enemy that isn't magic resistant. Doesn't matter if they're fast or flying or whatever, she's got it. Wakka is pretty weak most of the time, but he's good for flying crap. Auron can't hit birds to save his life. And Rikku's Limit Break fucking sucked and it required you to use items. Like maybe there was a combination of items that was good, but then you'd need a load of those items to keep using it, so that makes it useless.awp wrote:

Rikku's overdrive is absolutely necessary if you're doing a no-grid run, but I don't know if it has any instant-kill or something like 100,000 needles, or anything like that.Seibei4211 wrote:

Ehehehe, I guess you can blame me for that!Seibei4211 wrote:
These Final Fantasy discussions have the ability to confuse me, because when I first saw ampzz mention Selphie, I thought it was referring to me for a second.
Ok, well in a normal game for people who aren't insane, she's useless. And she does have this move that sounds pretty good that takes the health of every enemy down to 1/16th of their original health, but I bet it doesn't work on a lot of things. She's got some pretty good buff/healing mixes though. Stuff you can't even get from normal items.awp wrote:

I just beat it yesterday, he was the final boss as I thought. I had more than 6 hours to play daily, plus I got it a little earlier. It is hard, but awesomeSeibei4211 wrote:
Are you really already at the final boss? When did you get the game? I thought it'd take a while since the game's supposed to be hard and stuff.

People hate it because they think improvements are bad. All the game did was get rid of the illusion FF was a linear series. It made things simpler and cut a lot of bullshit.
The part I didn't like was the fights get tediously long later in the game.

FF13 is a good, flawed game.

I still have a screenshot of Ivalset admitting to crying when Sazh's kid gets frozen, or whatever.awp wrote:
FF13 had a terrible story and character backstories/histories/motivations that only seemed half-genuine. It's just, not very well-written, so it's hard to get absorbed into what's going on.
I highly disliked how, up until you're about to finish the game, you get zero choice of preferred party.Rolled wrote:

Yeah, that did suck. I had the same problem with Eternal Sonata. RPGs need to stop doing that.ampzz wrote:

I'm not totally sure what you mean, so I'll answer a couple interpretations of that question. You don't rip off as many vent covers in this game in general. I also didn't do that many grate takedowns partly because it's not silent and mostly because there are sooo many ways to take people down now. I tend to knock people around with the shock gun if they're wearing armor. I know that there's such a thing as a Vent Takedown now where you just bust out through a vent cover though.awp wrote:
Oh Seibei is Arkham City as much of a Grate Murder Simulator as Asylum was? That's one of the best parts. Murdering grates.
Odin Sphere is just incredible. The atmosphere and shit is just unreal, as gay as that sounds.Seibei4211 wrote:

Anyone have Saints Row The Third yet?
I guess? Saints Row games are closest to Vice City, I think. That's when the 3D GTAs were the wackiest. The best minigame in Saints Row is definitely insurance fraud. That shit's so fuckin' fun. Dive in front of vehicles and ragdoll through the city to rack up the insurance claims.Seibei4211 wrote:
@ampzz: So basically GTA was really fun and good, then it got kinda crappy, then Saints Row came in to take the place of the old school GTA feel?
