Irelia. There are more junglers that are good in the jungle than there are champs who can solidly hold down top lane (Irelia being one of them). She's relatively easier to play too IMO.
My friend (he's freaking good at this game, he was in the team Fureur) told me that playing Irelia was hard because she needs to place herself very well to get to enemy carries quickly.
But she's totally worth it. She's extremely fun to play.
Speaking of that, I kinda want to get Sona, but she looks awfully difficult to play. D: thoughts ?

If constantly spamming qweqweqweqweqwe and kicking in a stun when your team is about to rape everyone is hard, then yes, Sona is difficult.

Lol what? Irelia is prob one of the easiest champs to get onto an AD carry. With a Triforce and her Q its not hard. Quick movement speed, a dash, E for slow (or stun) and a possible phage proc from Triforce.
Also, Sona isn't all that easy, she's harder than you think. None of the supports are amazingly hard to play. Its more so about knowning your positioning, when to get oracles, warding up, not dying with orc, etc.

The only CV experience I have had was with Leona (played like 3 games with her she's up again in my list of to-play champs), but I had my pro friend playing with me and telling me what to do (and what not to do).
I'm still saving IPs for runes though, so unless I get Sona with RPs (which would be a waste) I won't get her until I'm level 20.

his laning phase was too ez if he never got ganked. the extra 8 shield per minion hit netted you a maximum of like, 80-92 shield per cast - it pretty much hauled the health cost into your shield if you hit it properly.

Well pre patch siphon on a creep wave would give him around 500~ at rank 5 which is a pretty huge amount of shield. When I first saw the patch preview I thought 250 would still be reasonable, but now you dont actually get shield from the aoe portion, so now you siphon a creep wave and get around 30~ shield. Siphon a champion and get 60. Ok this shit is just bananas. He needed small numbers tweaks not a complete rape of his E. Other than that I was perfectly fine with losing a lot of laning shield being being completely incapable of generating any shield on demand sucks since creeping death in the middle of a creep wave can hardly generate enough shield to balance out the minion damage you're taking.Ephemeral wrote:

You're not hitting people with mace of spades either in lane so don't get your hopes up. Unless they know they can kill you so they let you hit them, in which case you cant hit them with it and come out at a good trade.

Ok I misunderstood what exactly they were changing about morde, he's still fine because he still nukes down creeps without taking much damage from trading.

LeBlanc is so strong it's really fun to play her, but I think she relies a little too much on her early game to get kills, else her burst cant bring what you expect, if you know what I mean.

Correct me if I'm wrong, lol.LeBlanc is a pubstomp champion, snowballs pretty easy. Ok in low-mid elo but falls off on high elo/competitive. Her lategame is not that great too compared to other mages.
Leblanc burst is for a solo person while Brand can burst down a whole fucking team lol.
The only time leblanc is good is when you manage to snowball with her early game, very strong into mid, but falls of at late game. Banshees veil kind of kills her

Man this ELO reset totally sucks, and the thing that bothers me the most is that there are A LOT of damm noobs in ranked these days.
I just played a game where the only things my teammates wrote in the chat was cursing or "you feed x, you feed y" or that everyone sucked. They didn't even tried to win, they just surrendered at 20.
Also, I got queque dodged like 6 fucking times b4 getting to that match, 4 of them were perfect teams...
Oh well, at least dominion is coming out soon and everyone will start ranking from 0.

I only do BR's premades, figure someone always picking Mord, Zilean and free week champions. Sad part is, we win almost every game.

Anyways, there will be no qq about elo hell anymore I think. All the high elo players are back up in the top spots again. Duo-Q you're way up from the noobs to your normal elo. Got to 1.4k with my friend today (who supports me like a god) which is actually a pretty nice rating at EU atm.
They had 2 golds and 2 silvers and a bronze, and on the other hand my team had 1 silver 2 bronzes and 3 people with no medal.

I can go 5-0 in my lane, outfarm by 50 cs, etc etc to get "fed" and ahead, but how is that going to help when there is x person on my team face checking bushes when team says other wise? Or x person who feed top x kills? Or during champ select x person doesn't play what the team needs and would rather pick something that doesn't help the team or is terrible vs. the other team just because he wants to play it? I don't know what game you are playing but no matter how fed or farmed you are its a TEAM game, and a weak team will bring you down and lose the game for you.

I somehow managed to get my level 12ish smurf account into some normal rating bracket with a bunch of other people who aren't completely terrible.
ie. everyone picks ignite/ghost/flash. There's even often a jungler other than me.
I mean they're still terrible though. This one Nunu counter jungled me (I was Yi), and by counter jungle, I mean "I killed him".

I've encountered people trying to steal my wraiths without knowing I start Xin golems -> red twice this week.
