Sorry guys I spent the holiday with my family and I wasn't able to follow the thread.

Right now the top two people I find suspicious are DxS and LunaticMara. DxS for claiming to have some awesome role and not posting after LS practically explained that it was possible DxS did nothing to affect the vote.

LunaticMara is suspicious to me on basically a hunch, but also the fact that he kept focusing on Two when it isn't that hard to read the thread.


I want to vote for DxS, however I'm not going to allow him to get hammered before we hear what LS has to say.

If at the point that it's a little over a day until the deadline, DxS has the most votes... I will also announce my previously mentioned thoughts.

This is to allow any needed discussion based on what I'm going to say. At that point, expect to go through with the DxS lynch though.

Also, if I've read correctly...

DxS has two votes.

16 players are alive. With that true it should take 8 to lynch.

We are roughly 31 hours into Day 2. There are 5 days (IRL) in this day.

So, nobody has an excuse to say "Oh I thought he was at X" or "I thought it was X to lynch, oops!"

If somebody does hammer him, that player will recieve all of my votes (Including the vote I'll steal from that player.) Until they are lynched.

Also, bold to make sure people don't skim by it, and give no reason for anyone to claim they 'missed' my post.

I am planning on going back and doing some deeper reads soon, to see if I notice anything. If I manage to do this, I will post my read either when I complete it, or I will post my incomplete read once I post my thoughts roughly a day before deadline or at L-1. If for some reason I don't even have an "Incomplete read", I will post my current suspicions. This is in case I'm NKed tonight, since at this point I would assume I'm looking like a pretty big threat to the mafia. (Alongside Chris, of course.)

Being confirmed town makes it much easier to say what's on your mind without worrying about the mafia trying to twist around anything you say. It also means that my thoughts will actually get listened to properly instead of ignored ect...

well I think it was pretty obvious he was town as he was "lynched" day 1 in a game where mafia has, at minimum, 4 voting power if they have to use it

I don't belive DxS is "confirmed" town. I do believe he's extremely likely to be town and getting a solid confirmation of this might encourage him to post. (Or asking for a replacement if he continues to not post.)

On another note: @Chris: You may also decide to include DxS as X or Y in what I said if the majority doesn't lynch him. That way he'll be truely confirmed assuming him and the other person are pro-town. (Since some people, myself included, don't confirm people without aux results, and getting a solid confirmation would allow us to continue on with no interruptions.) Honestly, if you do choose any random non-confirmed two players, we'll either get 2 confirmed town or 1 unknown scum and 1 unknown (any alignment). Of course, either choosing the lurkers (so we don't waste time lynching them) or the most talkative (so we can trust what they're saying or not) would also be a good move.

@Other players - Respond to Chris's post, jeez. He's basically our most powerful aux, it's not good to ignore him.

So posting like this was something you just came up with? I find that hard to believe, just based on what I've seen of Q. Did your entire role pm consist of "You are Q, you win with town"?

@chris- I'm still wary of you and if you're really town it probably won't matter since you'll probably be shot or roleblocked... but LS's suggestion sounds good to me. Rather than going for lurkers/scummy people, it might be better to just confirm 3 people as town- the reasoning being that knowing that at least one out of two scummy people are actually mafia doesn't put us that much ahead, since we might have to spend two days to hit the one person. While it'll be very good to know if one of the people who is giving off a townie feel is actually scum.

However, with 4-5 already confirmed town, the chances of multiple people in a group of 3 being anti-town is much higher. In that case even though getting a true result is amazing, getting a false is much less helpful. If you detect two of the scummier (or lurkers likely to be lynched), then a true gets us on the right track, where as a false allows us to choose which one we think is scum and lynch them (which we would be doing anyway, since they're the scummiest or since people seem to like to lynch lurkers here.)

TLDR: Doing 3 is much riskier and less likely to help than 2 at this point.

About two: I find nothing hard to believe at all about two faking a Q roleclaim. It's not that hard to figure out how to fake, and it is two we're talking about. He's not new to this game.

I think we should do 2 people and not 3. 2 is more likely to get a true result and even if we get a false one we have more information as to who the mafia is.

I found DxS far more suspicious than Mara, but I really think anybody who was mafia would be stupid to act like he has for two days in a row. Also the fact that he was silenced (BAT ability) leads me to believe he is town.

Heh, that confirms my suspicions that there was indeed a silence ability. (Which I figured would be used on me around the time I was to post the DxS stuff, if we went down that route.)

Honestly, as a use of an active ability silencing DxS doesn't really seem like a super smart move.

if DxS got silenced I'm going to assume since not posting is inherently anti-town that it was an ability a mafia member pulled. And as such I doubt they'd silence one of their own.

Things I've taken note of:

Chris – Two (Wojjan, Two, LS, and rust are all town)

Two’s Quara role is weird… (I guess it could be partially true, but I find it hard to believe you’re a watcher because you lied the first time and could have told us earlier, why wait? Actually, why did you tell us in the first place?)

LS – Strager ( took a vote off DxS?)

animask asking to summarize Day 1 (You’re town, no? You need to vote on who YOU think is most suspicious – you shouldn’t be basing your vote on someone else’s analysis until after you’ve considered your own thoughts.) *Scummy/Lazy points*

DxS is likely town/low on my FoS list

I disagree with 2 choices since we already a group confirmed town + an idea of who are most likely town. This also means the chances for one of the choices in a X and Y statement being mafia (resulting in a false statement) is high. Just wary I guess.

It' d be devastating if we put our trust in Chris for the next couple of days only to find out later he was mafia.

I just don't buy a post from someone who not only kept his vote on a roleclaimed edit:cop*, but says that he thinks the same person is mafia that he tells the doctor to protect

I'd still like some kind of confirmation that what he's telling us is legit. With the way things are going it looks like town is willing to depend on him for the most part. Like I said, it would be terrible if he turns up mafia and we've been thinking his statmenst/results were true the whole time @_@ (can you say set back?) + role seems too good to be true. Back to what Chris should ask mod tonight? (I'll still answer to my distrust issues if you'd like to continue Two, but I don't want to waste too much time [Multi-task/topic + I only have a limited time to post so I'd like to get some discussions going while I'm here]

Suggestion: Most suspicious gets day lynched and next suspicious goes up for Chris/Mod detection.

(That was me) In that case we get three more days of information from chris. If he detects wisely then we've pretty much won by then.

Don't bother. If we try to set something up he'll know and could tell the truth for that particular investigation. In fact, if he were mafia he'd obviously be feeding us half-truths- if he flipped scum I'd assume at least half of the four he picked out day 1 are really town.

Just lynch him in three days, and mostly trust him until then.

Oh, also this is relatively "passive" just because it's harder to get what's going on when there's so many people. Not to mention lurkers abound.

Hi, home from work (fucking finally).

I don't recommend lynching Chris after 3 days anyways. I feel like hes legit, as Two probably is (aside from obvious lies about his role). If this duo we're the mafia they'd be stupid to make claims like this in the first/second day. Lynching either of them would not be beneficial to town at this point, odds are one of them will probably get NK'd tonight anyways. And as for what Chris should send the mod, I agree the whole single target thing would be good because it would help us plan lynches. Ask the mod if a person you find suspicious is town. I wouldn't be against you asking the mod about me given the fact that Two seems to think I'm mafia for trivial things.

Side Note: are there any restrictions to the questions you can ask, or is everything fair game?

At least now we have something to reference later to catch people lying. The abilities of people should kind of match the flavor, so someone who claimed would have a hard time pretending to be a miller, for example.

BATs are probably still mafia, seeing as no one's claimed to be one yet.

Lilac - none. Two's point still stands.
pieguy1372 - seems helpful pointing out some possible false with our strategy
foulcoon - role claimed to be a GMT even he was under the rador. Too much WIFOM however...
DeathxShinigami - this was explained for pages. He got lynched on D1 which could have been easily prevented and got silenced D2.
akrolsmir - Similar to pieguy
Haneii - he seems really worried with believing in Chris's claim, which is natural for townie.

I agree with most of what bmin said. I don't really get what you're saying about Mara though.

P.S. Ivalset is not a BAT or GMT. He is a badass though.

But, actually, winning at this point is impossible as I'm a lyncher and my win condition is to have LadySuburu (strager) lynched. Which is practically impossible now since they're confirmed town as far as most people are concerned :\ Whatever, go lynch me since I guess I'm technically anti-town.

Are you expressing complete disinterest, or would you be willing to help town. Does your role confirm LS as strager, or just say that your objective is to kill strager, whoever it may be?
