in general you should probably clean up the overlaps. for example, 02:15:200 (2,2) - the overlap here is a lot different from the overlap 02:16:800 (1) - 02:17:800 (2) - here which is also different from the overlap 02:17:200 (1) - 02:18:000 (1) - here. 02:30:400 (5,2) - is also very different from the previously mentioned overlaps. just make sure that when you have objects that overlap, you keep the overlap somewhat consistent visually
I think raising the AR helped with this, as the objects that overlapped in weird ways mentioned before don't seem to be as much of an issue now. I agree with this, and cleaned up the noticibly bad overlaps after the AR change.
in general, try to keep the slider shapes and tilt more consistent. you want to have sliders be tilted at about 5-15 degrees (+/- 90 degrees if sideways) because that looks fairly good and works well when mirroring things. also if all of your sliders in a map have around the same tilt, that makes the map feel a lot more clean. there are times when its ok to have sliders that arent 5-15 degrees such as 04:13:400 (2,1,2) - where 04:13:600 (1,2) - are pretty much mirrored over the line of 04:13:400 (2) - or patterns that rotate such as 05:13:800 (1,2,3) -.
As for slider consistency, if you have a slider next to a slider of the same type, just copy paste them. you can use commands like ctrl h/j/g to mirror it or what not but at least make sure its consistent. some examples are 01:50:600 (1,1) - 01:54:000 (2,1) -
and of course there are more, those are just some examples
these are actually the same slider copied and pasted, but i rotated them 45 degrees instead of the usual 15/30/60 (i.e. 01:50:600 (1,1)). some of them i did rotate the 30/60 but i also flipped them (i.e. 01:54:000 (2,1)). Does the 45* angle not look as good as the 30/60/90? Im just curious because I was trying to be especially conscious of copying sliders of similar types near each other in this map.
typically all normal ish sliders (curved sliders and straight sliders) should be 90 degree rotations unless they're part of a pattern that requires otherwise. for example, a triangle is a good reason for a slider to be a 120 degree rotation or a star is a good reason for a 72 degree rotation. if there isnt any special pattern and you're just placing a lone slider or two, they should probably be 90 degree rotations. this is all subjective and just my experience tho so take the advice with a grain of salt.
I think i'm going to keep the 45 degree sliders, it really just seems like a style difference, and even then I think it can follow the rules by it being a combination of a 30 and 15 degree slider (also it being 1/2 of a 90 degree angle).
I used the slider to start the stream due to a relationship in sounds between 01:24:400 (5) and 01:24:600 (1). Should I change 00:14:400 (1) tho? i think has something similar to what you mentioned above
i'll increase spacing between the sliders here, but i've used the same slider rhythm on every time the vocals have done that rhythm, so i think ill keep the sliders but this might require another opinion idk
also u could keep sliders but add sv change for 02:41:200 (2,3) - but u didnt really use sv emphasis on ur map so i dk. i'd use jumps too
00:08:400 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - you should replace this stream with sliders.. remember to keep it consistent :)
this section (at least in my opinion) sounds different from the other parts that I used sliders in. the sections that I used this decelerating stream have slightly more emphasis on beats 1, 2 and 3 (see 05:13:200 (1,2,3)) so I decided stream would be the best way to be a stream
00:56:800 (2) - remove this slider and put jumps to make emphasis on the sound here 00:57:000 -
00:59:400 (1) - you should remove this slider and start the jumps form 00:59:400 - instead of here 00:59:800 - there is a huge sound on the slider end that i think should be clickable :)
01:06:000 (1,2,3) - you could keep these kind of sliders but you should make them way more spaced
01:28:800 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - you should increase spacing on this stream because this part is really intense
you should space this 01:54:000 (2) - further away from 01:53:600 (1) - it gives this sound 01:54:000 - more emphasis
remove this slider 02:36:800 (3) - and start these sliders 02:36:000 (1,2) - from here 02:36:200 - you can fill the left out sounds with circles :)
