Noisia
Sharing over two decades of musical history together since their beginnings in the year 2000, the Dutch electronic music triad of Nik Roos, Thijs de Vlieger and Martijn van Sonderen form the vanguard act known as Noisia. Renowned across the scene for their revolutionary exploration of dozens of subgenres and styles, Noisia has also featured widely in countless pieces of mainstream culture, ranging from their scoring work for video games like Devil May Cry to cutting-edge collaborations with titanic EDM superstars like Skrillex and so much more.
Though the musical enteprise that is Noisia approaches its end with the closing of 2021 signalling the trio's split to pursue their own individual creative projects, Noisia's influence upon the musical world will continue via their twin record labels, Vision Recordings and Division Recordings, and in the legacy their work has left upon the many projects they have been involved in.
Most popular in osu! via their track Stigma mapped by Natteke back in 2014, Noisia has also seen considerable interest from the community in a series of top-end beatmaps set to a self-made challenge track featured in the game DJ Hero known as Groundhog (Beat Juggle).
Fans of bleeding-edge electronic music will feel right at home in Noisia's sound, especially for the bass freaks who genuinely have no further to look for some of the filthiest, earth-shattering thunder available anywhere.
