HARDCORE UTOPIA
Providing a platform for both new and old musical talents throughout the rhythm game sphere, HARDCORE UTOPIA is a set of free compilation albums organized by Kara with a focus on every corner of hardcore, artcore, and other experimental electronic subgenres. Launching in 2019 with a 12 track album, HARDCORE UTOPIA has since expanded into three albums, each reaching more impressive heights than the last, as made clear by the latest album's impressive 21 tracks designed by 25 different creators.
Teaming up with osu!'s highest echelon of mappers, the team behind HARDCORE UTOPIA launched their third album in July 2021 alongside a small collection of osu! beatmap showcases. This teamwork between musicians and osu! mappers helped bridge the gap between these songs and the rhythm game scene, and of course, demonstrated exactly how effective these songs translate to beatmapping. With 50 songs and 42 artists to choose from, there's bound to be more than a few songs worth winding up in the editor.
