Hello everybody, Peter Griffin here to explain the beatmap. Hot N Cold is a general pop song created by Katy Perry a really long time ago, and it's one of the most popular songs ever within America. On August 27, 2020, popular mapper and top speed player, Sytho, mapped this song and uploaded it. There are four difficulties from 7.27 stars to 9.59, and they all have one thing in common: They are cross-screen jump maps. This mapping style is well known among other pop songs that are similar to Hot N Cold, including Altar, Popular, Temptation, La Mama de la Mama, etc. These maps are also known for having scores set by some of osu's top players, like WhiteCat, Vaxei, badeu, etc. Because these players can consistently hit fast, cross-screen jumps on beatmaps like Hot N Cold, many people say that they went Godmode, or that this beatmap is Whitedoable, or Badeuable. I hope this explanation helps you know more about the beatmap!
