I'm not a mapper and I know Icekalt is quite experienced. I know this Insane diff is supposed to be reading focused but I surely can't be the only person who feels like the discrepancy between 4 sliders at 02:10:110 and 8 sliders at 02:10:776 seems very very off. When you listen carefully to the song these 12 sounds are completely the same, with same intensity. And while the sliders themselves remain the same, I do not understand why the mapper: a) splits this into 2 new combos instead of splitting it into 3 for every downbeat (or just keeping it as one 12 note combo which is how it's done on the Extra diff), b) goes from 4 sliders that are kind of stacked in a short line to 8 sliders placed as back-and-forth jumps. This is basically 2 polar opposite patterns, with an extreme spacing difference, when all 12 sounds are the same, c) in addition designs the jump from first 4 sliders to the 8 sliders that follow as a 90 degree jump which also suggests that there will be a change in the song. When I played this and I saw this, I instinctively assumed the second group would be on stronger/different sounds, but when the pattern started I found out it wasn't, so while getting confused due to the fact that this was also turning out to be 8 notes instead of groups of 4, before I realized I switched to clicking them at half the speed as I must have made a subconscious assumption that I misheard/misread the timing. Of course, as I now found out, I was wrong and that's a very (not) nice way to fail the map that you are FCing. :| I wouldn't have posted if I wasn't certain that this pattern was atrocious to play, and, in my opinion, this should not be rankable, or at least not on an Insane diff. I don't know if it actually breaks any criteria though, I have no idea. The rest of the map felt alright with some patterns being very fun to read.
02:10:110 (1,2,3,4) - acted as an introduction to 02:10:776 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - cuz i thought if i would use that pattern from the start it could be too hart to get into the rhythm so i thought using a more simple patten for the first 1/1 would be a bit more player friendly. I definitly see your point tho that the pattern are too inconsistend with each other, sometimes its harder to predict how other players react to a pattern since it played fine on my side. Thanks for feedback!
