Since everyone does this, I decided I will too. This is my 6th map, and one I finally feel is even nearly worthy of being ranked... That said, let's get this tweaked!

Changelogything:

[Dec. 7, 2011] Background size to pixel perfection. Edits made.
[Dec. 10, 2011] Various sound shifts.
[Dec. 14, 2011] Various fixes, particularly hitsounds. Preveiw Point set.
[Dec. 17, 2011] Various sound shifts.
[Jan. 14, 2012] Some beat shifts in [Avert Fate]

Yo modding this map because of ur request :)

General:
Kiai time is inconstant. it needs to be the same for 1 mapset
wait easy hard and im guessing the last diff is insane?
The BG needs to be 1024x768
disable the countdown for all diffs and letterbox since ur not doing a storyboard

Easy:
00:02:944(1) - remove the claps for both ends
00:12:944(4) - its not a good idea to put more than 1 repeat in an easy diffs because beginners wont know when this will end
00:44:249 - like i said in general kiai time needs to be the same
00:58:162(1) - make this nicer
01:17:292(5) - same as 00:12:944
01:23:814(3) - ^
about the hitsounds. u need to add more hitsounds because all i hear is the finish.

Hard:
00:20:122(3) - replace this for a slider and end it at 00:20:340

Advert Fate:
i suggest that u rename this to insane
00:20:774(6) - make this slider nicer
01:02:296(4) - why is the reverse arrow facing the opposite direction?
01:10:340(1) - make this a straight slider because this 1 is ugly
u need to work on the NC placement for this diff

this is the best i can do. overall u need to work on ur hitsounds and new combo placement. other than that it looks good IMO. GL :D

Thanks, I'll look over everything. I'm using claps mainly, that is something I'm strict on, however, I will make all other changes you suggest. And Avert Fate stays. Those who have played the game will get it :P

Haha, totally didn't notice the kiai mode inconsistency, fixed.

More diversity in hit-sounds added.

Ohhhh that slider does make that nicer...

That reverse arrow. What was I thinking? Fixed.

All changes I'm taking, made. Once again, thank you.

Cheers,

Hey, sorry couldn't get to this as quickly as I wanted to. Internet problems. XD

[General]

Right, so first of all there is something really important: If you pick a pattern, stick with it. Don't keep changing the rhythms or hitsound times. Go with the flow. It makes it sound a lot better and it's better for play.
Next: I think what Bakyugan means when he/she says change "Avert Fate" to Insane is that you should keep the names consistant. This kind of ties into what I said above. Either you want all of your Beatmap Difficulty names themed or just named normally.

[Easy]

I'll start with a pattern issue.

[0:07:292] (2) Alright, here you've started a pattern - a Finish hitsound every two beats. So either remove it or stick with it. I'd prefer if you stuck with it, but it means you should add another at (0:09:031), (0:09:901), and so on until you reach (0:14:249), where another pattern starts. Really complete your patterns.

There are a lot of errors in combos - I'll try and squish a few.

[0:02:944] RC (remove combo)
[0:04:249] NC (new combo)
[0:04:684] RC
[0:05:988] NC
[0:06:857] RC
[0:08:597] NC
[0:10:770] RC
[0:11:205] NC
[0:19:901] ^
[0:20:770] RC

You see what I mean? Now I'll just go in a free-for-all mod, but you need to revise a lot of things.

[0:20:770] (1,2) I'm not sure if the volume should go so low.
[0:30:336] (2) I can see the symmetry you're trying to make - but it's not working. What you should do is first Copy or cntrl+c the first slider (while selecting the first slider, of course) and then scrolling along the timeline to where you want the second slider to be, then Paste or cntrl+v. Next, with the new slider selected, go to the "Edit" toolbar option at the very top of the window, then select "Flip Horizontally." And there's your new slider.
[0:32:075] (4) Finish hitsound.
[0:33:814] (1) Finish histound and the 1 and the end, clap hitsound on the reverse arrow.
[0:36:423] (2) With the pattern you made, you should remove the finish hitsound and add a clap.
[0:40:770] (2-5) The pattern's already ended, but you're missing out on some histound action. :P
[0:51:205] (-) More hitsounds in this section, please.
[1:00:770] (2,4) You started a pattern. Now keep it going.
[1:04:249] (4,5) Same as one of the above points, don't think the volume needs to be so soft.
[1:22:510] (2) Finish hitsound~

[Hard]

[0:00:775] (1-3) Now this is an example of a rhythmical pattern problem. You see, in hitcircles 1-3 you use a different rhythm than from [0:02:514] (1-3). So you have to changesomething. It'll sound better and will be less work if you just change the first pattern. :P
[0:04:253] (6) NC
[0:04:579] (1) RC
[0:07:731] (6) NC
[0:07:948] (1,3) This clapping hitsound pattern is nice. Now carry it on. :P Also RC. :3
[0:09:688] (8) NC
[0:10:122] (1) RC
[0:11:209] (6) NC
[0:11:427] (1) RC
[0:15:992] (3) NC
[0:19:688] (1) RC
[0:21:209] (2,3) Again, no need for it to be so soft.
[0:28:601] (1,2,1,2) For a Hard map this is way too easy. :P
[0:43:492] (3) This slider is too early - slide it one tick along the timeline.
[1:19:688] (7-9) Distance spacing issues.

[Avert Fate]

[0:00:775] (1-5) against [0:02:514] (1-7)? Decide for yourself. Now this doesn't mean all the other patterns have to be the exact same: Just the first one stands out, the rest seem fine.
[0:56:427] (1) Distance spacing issues.

---

Sorry, I got a bit tired during the Avert Fate map - that isn't a bad thing, it's just I probably missed a lot of stuff.

ANYWHO, I think I'd move this back to WIP for just a bit longer - I knwo you really do think it's good enough to be ranked, but there are a lot of technical issues. I probably pointed out quite a few, but there are probably more. Anyway, move it to WIP, there are usually more modders over there too, and tell me what you think.

It was still very nice,

I am obstinate on the Avert Fate and the others as well, call me silly, but I really do like it.

Changes
[Easy]

-Hitsounds fixed
[0:20:770] (1,2) I'm not sure if the volume should go so low. Nope, I like the volume as is.
Thanks I found out about this only a week ago, but I forgot I tried to do symmetry without it. Note that you failed to mention the most important part, if I jsut did what you said, Spacing would be horribly wrong, especially for an easy mode. You also need to press ctrl + r to flip the beats. In any case, fixed.

[Hard]

-Hitsound changes made. Not necessarily your suggestions. Hitsounds don't need to follow a set pattern. It simply needs to work with the music.
[0:28:601] (1,2,1,2) For a Hard map this is way too easy. There can be easy parts in a hard map. Ever heard of HP drain? ;P
[0:43:492] (3) This slider is too early - slide it one tick along the timeline. Nope. This is intentional.
[1:19:688] (7-9) Distance spacing issues. Spacing changes are on purpose. I will however edit it a bit, it is a touch extreme. Since I'm doing that, I'll change [01:26:862] as well

[Avert Fate]

No changes made.

Well then, that about sums it up. I am keeping this in pending because all the maps are indeed done. All that is being done is tweaking. IN any case...

The notes are too close together/the slider speed is too slow; at least for me, a guideline I like to use is that I should see the white grid lines between circles that appear on white timeline ticks, and for sliders, 1-beat sliders should have non-overlapping ends.
00:14:684 (6,1,2,3) - Do you see how (3) is slightly underneath (6)? You should usually try to avoid overlapping patterns, and if you do use overlap, it looks better if (3) is directly underneath (6).
00:18:162 (1) - I think it looks better if you move this note out from underneath the previous slider. (I get really fanatical about this and even break distance snap to avoid ugliness :P)
00:21:205 - 15% is really quiet, maybe up it to 25& or 35%?
00:28:597 (1,2) - this symmetry is good :) do it more often, because it makes your map pretty
01:02:075 (1) - finish sounds weird

[Hard]
A [Hard] shouldn't have this many 1/4 triples; this isn't a Touhou map :P
I think this is overmapped.
00:01:427 - should have a note here
00:06:861 (4) - I don't understand why this note is here
00:13:601 (2) - ^
00:42:514 (1,2,3) - I don't understand how this pattern fits with the music.

[Avert Fate]
The antijumps aren't intuitive, and is also overmapped

honestly I think it's best to just remap [Easy] and [Hard] and tone down [Avert Fate]
Teru21
Hi! from teruteru modding & guest diff queue sorry for the late.. ><

[Easy]
01:17:292 (5,6) - the (6) is covered by (5) bit untidy try place it at x:80 y:72
sugestion if ^ did:
01:19:031 (1) - x:152 y:72
01:19:901 (2) - x:256 y:168
01:20:770 (3) - x:344 y:272
01:25:118 (4) - x:168 y:232
01:26:423 (2) - not alined with (5) x:304 y:168
01:26:857 (3) - ^ with (4) x:336 y:232
01:27:292 (1) - make it aline with (3) x:264 y:232
01:27:727 - any special why u make this x1.00?

(Hard)
00:01:427 - add circle
00:01:644 (3) - move it to 00:01:753
00:02:079 (4,5) - how about change it into 1 slider?
00:04:579 (1) - how about x:288 y:48 ?
00:41:753 - how about adding circle here?
00:59:035 - ^
01:03:166 (6) - x:256 y:256
01:03:383 (7) - x:264 y:336
01:04:688 (8) - how about x:8 y:352 ?
01:26:861 (1,2,3,4,5) - how about making this in a circle position? like (1) x:184 y:104 (2) x:160 y:168 (3) x:192 y:224 (4) x:256 y:248 (5) x:312 y:224

(Avert Fate)
ooh.. abit lazy.. but.. how about make it a bit more tidy? a circular slider?so..
00:42:514 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - how about change the beat snap divisor into 1/3 (up-right) then place it in line?
01:02:188 (3,4) - the (3) is hiding the (4) reverse arrow.. this is unrankable stuff.

thats all.. Good Luck :D

Oh wow! Totally didn't see that people modded this! Thanks :D

@Dusty: You're prabably right. I've mapped quite a bit since this, so I think I can do a better job now. I'll remap them.

@Teru: I'll make those edits to Avert Fate. Thanks for getting to me ;)
