I know lol, it lets me visualize if it looks better though, the way I map needs the colors to compliment each other in the same way the notes do so I can see if it looks nice. same way as how ddddd k ddddd k doesn't look good in some cases.

But there's a few things I have to point out:
01:46:685 (5,6,7,8) etc - Holy fucking shit.. 1/8 notes! This is the part I fail most of the times.. But I guess most people can do 350 bpm streams right...? They're even holy-fuck hard in half time too! ;_;

It does not fit the music at all (ie there is nothing in the music to support using 1/6. if you somehow hear 1/6 in the squealy part, you're wrong, it's 1/8, and it's drowned out by the obvious 1/4 bass drum. Don't try to map something when there's something else which is so obvious to map.).

Can you convert that Taiko BG to .jpg please? 1.4mb is a bit large for a background that isn't substantially worse as a JPG.

I don't really like the break placement, since it's generally better to have the break near the middle, a bit skewed towards the end of the map, whereas here the breaks are all near the beginning, with the exception of Lunatic, which has no break. This is also something that's best made consistant, imo. The break should go where it fits best musically and with the player's endurance in mind, which shouldn't change between maps (music obviously is the same).

The purple approach circles blend a lot with Reisen's hair, which is in the middle of the screen, so it is often hard to see.

[Easy]

00:11:542 (1) - For these J's, I'd recommend pulling the red tick down a bit below the endpoint tick, which rounds out the outside a bit more.
01:20:113 (1) - You could probably adjust this slider a bit so that the ticks at the intersection stacked up.
01:34:513 (1,2,3) - How about vertically flipping this combo so that 1,2 isn't under the slider?
01:45:485 (2) - Combo on this note instead of the one before it? Keeps the 4 notes at the center the same colour, which looks nice, and marks off the start of the slider section.

This diff felt really empty, the gaps are too significant, imo. There's pretty much a 1-bar break every 4 bars.

[Normal]

00:11:542 (1) - This combo didn't fit with the music too well, but it's easy to read, so up to you whether you want to change it.
00:23:199 - Feels really empty here again...

01:06:399 (1) - The spacing in this section is too large for a Normal, and combined with the low AR, catches the player off-guard. 01:09:142 (1) - Goes into the HP bar, which doesn't look too good.

You need to lessen the Normal and Hard. Whether or not Extra is rankable...is a can of worms I don't really want to open at the moment. I will say that even if this mapset was perfect, I would not bubble this Extra for ranking. However, you probably can find a MAT that will, and a BAT that will rank it. (and you can find MATs and BATs that would pop that bubble, so...I dunno.)

In my opinion, this map is harder than Usatei by CnF, which is approved, and shorter in length. But if that map was submitted today as part of a full mapset, it might not be approved anymore, with the number of HL/FL clears on it...

To be safe, or at least to make this map get ranked/approved faster, I would recommend submitting Extra for approval. If you are very against it, just know that this is a point of contention right now with no clear "right" answer.

If I had to say though, I would put my personal line on this map as rankable. But the official policy line is just too blurry.

  1. 01:50:285 - Why not place a kiai time here? It's a really epic part of the song...

  1. I have to say this, but this was slightly trollsome, but very refreshing, good job.
  2. 00:27:313 (5,6,7) - They look nice, they are noticeable while playing, but they don't exactly fit. If you add the note 4 to these 3, you get a pattern, but that pattern has too huge spacing and it doesn't fit the song. If you want some nice patterns, slap a new combo on 5 and make a triangle of some sort, you could leave 5 where it is now, put 6 somewhere in the middle of the screen, and 7 at the opposite side of 5. You could say it's more intuitive that way as well.
  3. 00:44:113 (1) - This note. Why? ;_; It's so ugly and almost off the playfield. You could place this note anywhere on the screen, so if you could just do that, so it's not going over the hp bar and be nearly offscreen.
  4. 01:12:913 (4) - Is there a clap missing at the start?
  5. 01:38:628 (1,2,1,2) - A quick suggestion. You could try this: remove the new combo from the 2nd 1 and remove the note 2 completely. After you do that, make some sort of a pattern with the remaining 1-2-3, they could be jumps. If you listen to the music, this could be a nice fit and would add some fun as well. Removing the 4th note is because it wouldn't fit this suggestion.
  6. 01:48:742 (8) - Should probably unstack this from the other slider a little more, would be much less confusing (not that it's really confusing now, but someone might mistake this for the long slider).
  7. 01:58:513 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - This is readable but it's ugly. Some might consider it cool, but I think they are just bad. Up to you if you figure a way to change it, or leave it as it is. Just some player's feedback.
  8. 01:59:885 (1) - Well, you could make this slider a bit more pretty, like it is currently it looks like a shape which is a result of a division by 0! No, I'm just kidding, a bad joke too, but you could make it so it doesn't touch itself (okay this sounds bad, but I hope you get my point).
    Or, try this: You can just map the rhythm of the song which is at the slider start, 02:00:056, 02:00:399 and slider end. Could probably make some jumps too.

Should probably change this part completely because it's too difficult compared to the rest of the map.

  1. I wonder why did you choose AR8 for a hard diff, when you have the same AR in Lunatic? Tried 7? Also OD4 feels kinda low, make it 5 atleast.
  2. 00:05:371 (7) - New combo. It looks better and you had it in Lunatic and Extra at this spot as well.
  3. 01:58:513 (1) - Maybe make this a short repeating slider which repeats once instead? Would follow the music better, considering you have ministreams of 3 after this.
[Normal]:
  1. 00:38:971 (1) - Finish at the start?
  2. 00:59:542 (1) - Finish at the end?
  3. 01:09:142 (1) - Ok you should probably change this, it's too far up. It goes over the score, over the HP bar and it's really close to the edge of the screen.

  5. 01:51:656 (5,6) - Probably a misleading jump for a normal diff. You could move 5 to the opposite side of the circle before it and move 6 accordingly as well or something.
[Easy]:
  1. AR+1. Current AR felt a little too slow considering the speed of the map.

And I guess you're right about the slider ticks, never though of that lol. Though normal has a lot of 1/2 that goes with it, but then again, it's never really for a majority of the song lol.
