Before I start back up the regular mafia games, here's a shorter one. (Also, the title is a lie... somewhat.)

Night never comes. There's only twilight. This is also a precursor to BM2. (Night actions take place during twilight, and during twilight you can post.)

New note: As people seem to be confused about this. If a player has a majority of people voting him at any point, the day ends with a lynch automatically.

Note 2: Roleplaying makes it a bit harder in mafia, please don't. I will roleplay the day's lynching for you. If you have a specific death in mind for when you're lynched, PM me. I might go with it.

Note 3: Please take this game seriously. It's hard for it to be played properly if you don't. Thanks. :3

The setup used in this game is unknown..

It consists of one of the following combinations of roles:

General

1. Unless otherwise stated in your Role PM, this game takes place in this thread only - do not discuss it anywhere else. Doing so will get you modkilled or immediately replaced, depending on the severity of the offence. (This is important for mafia games.)

2. Do not quote any PM, part or whole, you receive from the Mod. This includes fake or erroneous quoting. Breaking this rule will get you modkilled.

3. If you believe I've made an error as the mod, send me a PM. Please do not post about such things in the thread. If you have anything else you need me to read or address, post something like this - "Mod: You're the best."

4. A player who is modkilled will lose the game, regardless of whether their team mates eventually win.

5. Omitted.

Voting, Lynching and Deaths

6. Any voting action must be bolded - Vote: destructor, etc.

7. You may vote to end the day without a lynch by voting No Lynch.

8. You may Unvote if you wish to remove your vote from someone. Unvoting before placing a new vote is not necessary, but is appreciated. (I'd really, really like it if you did.)

9. A lynch occurs when a player has an absolute majority of votes on them.

10. At deadline, half of the votes that would normally be required are enough to lynch a player. In the event of a draw, the player who had the most votes before being tied will be lynched.

11. Once a lynch occurs the Day is considered to be over. Please, please, PLEASE do not post again until the next Day begins, especially if you are the player who was just lynched. (I accept talking beforehand as long as I haven't posted the lynch scene yet.)

12. On death, a player's role will be revealed.

13. A modkill will end the Day.

14. Once a player is dead, they cannot contribute any more to the game. They are not to post anything. (I'll accept a simple Bah! or Go Town!)

Activity

15. Please treat this game as a commitment.

16. Each Day will have a preset and fixed deadline of 3 days.. Deadlines are permanent. There are only a few reasons why I would extend one (such as replacing players).

17. If a player has not posted in 24 hours (the weekend counts as a 24 hour period), I will prod them if requested to do so. That is, it's up to you to ask me to prod a certain player.

18. Prods must be responded to in thread.

19. A player who doesn't respond to their prod within 24 hours will be replaced.

20. If you are going to be unable to post for over 24 hours, leave me a note in thread. As long as I am personally given notice, you will not be prodded.

21. Be courteous and respectful to your fellow players.

22. Blatantly antisocial and offensive behaviour or personal attacks will be grounds for replacement at my own discretion.

23. Finally, Mafia is for fun, so enjoy yourself.

So we don't actually know if there are sanities or not.

I would be surprised if there wasn't different sanities this game, having multiple sane cops seems unlikely...

It was renamed from "Nightless Crazy Mafia" because I didn't want LS's series mixed up with my CM series.

With two Cop claims, I doubt one of them will survive to tell his or her tale for Day 2, unless one is lying (WIFOM: Mafia know this and don't kill a claimed Cop, making them both suspicious (how many Mafia are there anyway?)) or we have a Doctor (or two? xD) and some luck.

I'm inclined to believe 0_o on his role because he mentioned "Twilight Townie" instead of "Vanilla Townie." I don't think anyone but a Twilight Townie would know the name of the Vanilla Townie role except by a wild guess and a boat load of luck, or some knowledgeable Mafia or aux role (or cheating...).

These unkown role games just have too many possibilities :/ I think it's best to stick to assuming that everyone was assigned a common/basic role. Yes, someone could be a Mafia Cop that shows up as innocent to other cops and also has 2 votes, but we'll never guess that right and I'm sure LadySuburu is aware of that fact. Speculation will never amount to more than pure guess work. There's also only 7 players in this game, which means that having too many aux roles or special abilities would make the game imbalanced.

There could be two Mafia and five Doctors? xD That seems pretty balanced.

Anyway, there is a chance there are two Cops running around, at least one Vanilla Townie (aka Twilight Townie), and, of course, one or more Mafia (probably one or two for a game this small; perhaps two if we really do have two Cops).

Actually, with a bit of thinking, that means D2 is LyLo assuming two Mafia. That's either one or two investigations with two Cops. Assuming one (Mafia kills one of the two Cops), that's a 1/5 chance of winning past D2 (if a Townie is lynched D1) based on the living Cop's result (and even then the Cop could be insane, screwing that all up). Unless there are more, highly helpful or protective Townie roles, two Mafia is much too imbalanced. So I think it's safe to say there's only one Mafia. Perhaps the Mafia is a role blocker to counter the two Cops?

So here's what I suspect:
1 Mafia Goon or Mafia Roleblocker
1 Sane Cop (adam or SFG)
1 Insane Cop (adam or SFG)
1 Vanilla Townie (0_o)
3 Unknown Townies, probably Vanilla Townies
Remaining players: Derekku Chan, Echo, Lucidity, strager
This assumes all serious claims thus far are true. I'm not so sure there are two Cops unless the Mafia is a Roleblocker. We'll have to wait until Day 2 to figure that out ("no result" from one of the Cops).

Hmm, do you think it is wise for both Cops to investigate themselves? On one hand, we can discredit two possible sanities. On the other, the Mafia could pick both off Cops before they come up with anything conclusive about another player. In that other hand we see the chance of a Doctor who protects one of the Cops long enough to get two investigations (self and another person) and hopefully discover who the Mafia is. Or, the Cop could be the Mafia and win D2 (D2 has 7-2*2 = 3 players) by framing someone else in the same way.

You could also both scan the person who is lynched D1. Pretty much the same as investigating yourself, I think.

Or you can both target different players and hope for the best. I'm hoping for a Doctor so we can at least get two investigations.

How so? I think you tried explaining in another game (BM1? where YOU were Mafia?) but I couldn't really understand why, I think. I'll reread that discussion.
