Smalltown is a set-up where all roles and role abilities of every player are open information.
The only unknown information are the respective alignments of the players.

For this game, three will be randomly selected as Mafia, while one will be randomly selected as a Serial Killer.
The Mafia have one faction kill per Night, but they must choose someone among them to execute the kill.
The one executing the kill may not perform his/her role ability for the Night.

The Serial Killer also has one faction kill per Night, but can also perform his/her role ability for the Night.

Sign-ups will be different. Please sign up as your preferred character.
All role information will be released before the game starts.

Role Information:
You are Agent Spin from Elite Beat Agents.
During Night, you may choose to cheer someone – increasing the power of his/her role’s ability for that Night. You do not know how much your power will affect that someone’s ability. You may not target someone consecutively.

You are an Assassin from Fate/Zero.
During Night, you may select someone and using your stealth abilities, watch him/her and find out who targeted him/her that night.

You are Chell [REDACTED] from the Portal series.
During Night, you may select and swap two players with your Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device (ASHPD). Any actions targeting one will target the other instead.

You are Kirby from the Kirby series.
During Night, you may select someone and absorb his/her ability. You will gain his/her ability for that Night and will be able to use it, but only with only a 50% chance of successfully executing the ability. You cannot target the same person consecutively.

You are Lucario from the Pokemon series.
During Night, you may select someone and using your aura powers, trail him/her even in the darkness, and find out who he/she visited during that Night.

You are Professor Xavier from the X-Men series.
During Night through your mental abilities, you may select someone and change his/her target to someone else. If he/she had targeted two or more people, one of those targets will be randomly selected as the one to be swapped. You also may not make him/her target himself/herself. You may not target the same person consecutively.

You are the Sniper from the Team Fortress series.
During Night, you may aim at someone to fully charge your sniper rifle. During the next Night, you may choose to shoot that someone who you aimed the previously – killing him/her, or aim at a new person. (Note that if you aim at a new person, that Night you will have to charge your rifle again. You may kill the one who you newly targeted the next Night.)

You are Sonic from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
During Night, you may choose to speed up – making you invulnerable to any actions targeting you for that Night. (All actions targeting you would fail.) You may not speed up for two consecutive Nights.

You are Sub Zero from the Mortal Kombat series.
During Night, you may select someone and freeze them for that night – not allowing them to do any actions for the remainder of the night. You may not target the same person consecutively.

You are Souji Seta from the SMT: Persona series.
During Night, you may select someone and investigate them to find out if he/she is the Serial Killer. Investigating someone who isn’t the Serial Killer will result in an Innocent verdict.

You are Ushiromiya Battler from the Umineko No Naku Koro Ni series.
During Night, you may select one statement in the thread made by a player and determine whether the player is LYING or TRUTHFUL. If the statement of the player is vague or if the player who said the statement doesn’t himself/herself know the answer, your ability will fail.

You are a White Mage from the Final Fantasy series.
During Night, you may select someone and cast Raise on them (except yourself). If they were targeted by a Nightkill that Night, they will not die. (Note that for some reason, you can't seem to cast Raise on people already confirmed to be dead...)

Rules:

General:
1) Do not quote your role PM or anything the mod gives to you.
2) Do not post screenshots or any sort of factual evidence of private communications, either with the mod or amongst yourselves.
3) Do not edit your posts.
4) Do not talk outside of the thread, unless your role PM allows so.
5) Mod has the final say on any issue. If the mod makes a mistake, feel free to PM him to sort it out.
6) If you need any help, or have questions, or just want to talk in general, feel free to PM the mod.
7) Dead men tell no tales. Dead people may not post in the thread.

Day:
1) Game starts at Day.
2) Deadlines will be 96 hours tentatively. Extensions may be placed depending on the activity.
3) You may vote someone by using this format: Vote : Player -- You may also choose to not lynch anyone. Vote: No-Lynch
4) You may also remove your vote by using this format: Unvote : Player
5) When a player receives more than half of the total votes at any point during the day, that player is automatically lynched.
6) Once a player is lynched, there shall be no posting in the thread even before the mod posts the lynch scene. Night will commence shortly.
7) If no one has been lynched, and the deadline has passed, the person with the most votes gets lynched. If there is a tie, the one who reached the tying amount of votes first, is lynched.
8) A player has to remain active, at least one post per 24 hours. If a player has not posted for 24 hours, one may request for them to be prodded.
9) If the player prodded doesn't respond, a he/she will be replaced.
10) If the player gets prodded three times already and still becomes inactive he/she will be automatically replaced.
11) If no replacement can be found. The player will be modkilled instead.

Night:
1) Night lasts 24 hours.
2) Any roles or factions with active night abilities may choose to use them by PM-ing the mod (see the Role PM for role-specific instructions).
3) Once the deadline for night has passed, all actions not received will count as a No Action.
