So! this is my 3rd map from: [discography] TERRA... that's all for now :B

I'm asking for guest diffs!:
I need a begginer and a standart diff (Easy and Hard in osu! diff)

Nice- short and sweet 3 min total playing time.

General:
The circle in the center is definitely not in the exact middle- when you spin it it moves around quite noticeably. I don't skin so I don't know how to fix this myself, but try asking around in #modhelp.
Do you really want to leave in the "Oh No!" sound? It seemed distracting IMO


Basic:
00:23:584 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - If you're trying to make a circle with this pattern, you'll need to move (6,7) left and up a bit.
00:31:859 (3) - Minor nitpick, but you can make symmetric by moving the middle node left 1 grid
00:43:031 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Dunno if the weird timing is acceptable in a normal. Also, I dislike the entire pattern because the sharp angle and overlap between 5 and 6 looks unpleasant, try something else?
00:51:306 (4) - The arcs before were nice, but this L-shape looks out of place. Try something that is part-straight and part curved, maybe?
00:56:271 (1,2,3,4) - Similar to above, I dislike the sharp angle and overlap of (2,4)
01:02:478 (1,2,3) - Little bit confusing for the easiest difficulty
01:07:029 (1) - See the note below about the final spinner.
01:14:063 (4,5) - Spaced too closely (0.69x)
01:22:752 (1) - Here to end- Do you really have to copy paste here? It's only another 10 seconds and it would feel really fresh if you could come up with different patterns. That said, if you don't remap these, make sure to make the same adjustments as you do previously.
01:33:510 (1) - Definitely on the short side... at the very least, start it on 01:33:303, though that doesn't help much. maybe delete (2,3) and starting it where (2) used to be.

Pretty good on this map, a bit on the hard side for the easiest diff in a map though.

00:45:927 (1,2) - Try not to have the path of (1) touch (2)

01:06:822 (1) - This is even shorter than the other... Autoplay can't even get 2000 on this which is against the rules, I think.
01:10:339 (3,5) - Make these two symmetric, and make one a copy of the other.
01:15:718 (4,5,6) - Spacing issues. Consider using a higher grid level.
01:20:270 (4) - Move so it's mirroring (2), and adjust accordingly?
01:21:097 (1) - try 2 grids right and up, for a slightly different angle
What I said previously about copy+pasting applies- I'd highly recommend not doing it, but if you do make sure to update that section as well whenever you adjust anything.(probably by copy+pasting again)

Pretty good maps, especially considering there's only 1 other mod on this so far! Do post on more queues so you can get more feedback.

Wow is a really good mod! I fixed almost everything, I haven't fixed the spinnercircle yet, the snapping is ok, an the preview time too, thanks for your mod! :)

General:

-Make the purple and green combo colors a bit lighter; they're sometimes hard to see ATM and blend in with the BG, but making them a tad lighter would fix that problem.

Heavy:

00:04:965 (3,4,5) - I would move (4) down a bit to continue with the curve you started with (1,2,3).
00:06:827 (2) - Similarly, move (2) to the left a bit to flow into the curve you have with (3,4,5).
00:38:066 (1,2,3) - (3) is under (1)'s end; this makes (3) hard to see.
00:51:720 (1,2,3,4) - The music here is begging for jumps. Can you please add some here? ^_^
00:54:616 (1) - This slider should end on the beat (or white tick); there really isn't anything to support the blue tick for this slider.

00:59:788 : (1-2-3) se verían mejor orientados hacia afuera, por ende el circle 2 muevelo 2 a la derecha y 3 hacia abajo (Usando grid 3)
01:26:683 : (4) estaría mejor siguiendo el ritmo de todo ese combo, por ende déjalo en 01:26:890

En las otras diffs no vi nada para modear, eso sí evita usar tanto el hitsound "Finish" ya que se escucha mal D: ponle algún sonido en soft como sugerencia :3

Eso n_n (Me parece raro que nadie modee mi diff xD)

[General]
- Is ouran still doing the standard diff? If so please move this mapset to "work in progress" on your next upload. Move it to pending after all maps are "finished".
- The skin you used is not done very well: Spinner is not centered and hitbursts are too wide. Those are the two most obvious things you should fix. Also: You will need a matching approaching circle. You can just use the standard one from the template set you can download in the updater but the file should be included in your skin to prevent mismatching with custom skin packs. Don't forget to do a full submit to add new files.
- Tune down the comboburst soundfiles a bit. They are louder than your song file.
- Maybe remove "Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA2" from the source and add it to the tags instead. The song title is way too long otherwise ("Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA2 (TERRA) - STARS(Re-tuned by HAL)-DDR EDITION-") barely fits the screen width...


[Touche' Beginner]
- Use a fixed SV here please...It is completely unnecessary to use 1,20x SV just to reduce it with 3 different custom multipliers. I suggest sticking to 0,8x - 1,0x SV (use whatever feels right for you and change in the timing tab).
- You will have to remap the complete map with the new settings and be sure you won't have to change SV or distance spacing again - test your settings before you start all the work.

00:06:620 (1,2,3) - do not switch between different spacings randomly. It is best to stick to one fixed spacing for beginners difficulties distance snapping). Depending on your used SV and your overall mapping style (mainly 1/1 tapping or vocals/melody follow) you should use something that allows for your dominant beatpattern (in this case 1/1 beat distances) to not overlap and look clean.
00:19:860 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - beatplacement is not "wrong" but the constant in-line 1/1 circle tapping is very boring and not what you would call "good mapping". Keep the beat in mind but try to map the most dominant part of the song especially for beginners difficulties. At least support the vocals by using sliders where they fit the hold outs and lyrics.
00:26:480 (1,2,1) - Most objects can be placed better by using curved shapes and interesting placements instead of boring straight lines and stacks: http://puu.sh/5EqO http://puu.sh/5EqQ just random examples. Create some fitting and interesting patterns by using all of the editors features (rotate, mirror, etc.)
00:36:411 (5,6) - Maybe use the playfield a bit more and don't just stack stuff in the middle
01:27:718 (1,2,3) - The idea is very good but execution is lacking. To create patterns like this use a very precise top slider with the top beeing exactly in the middle (you can move around the complete combo afterwards), copy paste it to the correct timespot and rotate it by 60° clockwise, place it without gridsnapping until you are satisfied with the shape, copy paste the new slider and mirror horizontal. The result will differ depending on how good the source slider is so just keep trying until you like it.

You will have to remap the whole thing because of the SV-mess anyway so while you are at it try to make it as interesting but still as clean as possible. This is not an easy thing to do and I know that. Just don't give up.


[Basic]
- Whenever possible try to map the big white ticks.
- It is great to use your custom sample for the upbeats but it needs to be more consistent. Please check the different parts for missing claps on the upbeats.

00:14:481 (5,1) - use slider instead to at least cover the big white tick, use custom clap on start + end if you change it
00:16:550 (X) - add note
00:16:964 (1) - use custom clap on start + end
00:19:446 (5,1,2,3,4,1) - use some sliders or at least map the big white ticks
00:26:067 (7) - maybe use an upbeat slider instead (end on big white tick)
00:33:101 (X) - add note
00:33:514 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - use some clever sliders inside this beatpattern to support the vocals/melody
00:39:721 (1) - spinner makes ablsolutely no sense here, a possible use for a spinner would be 00:38:066 - 00:39:307 but here it just doesn't fit in any way. Use a spinner at the suggested timeframe if you want but definetely map this following part from 00:39:721 on properly
00:46:341 (1) - if you really want to use lazy spinners here instead of mapping it properly you should use 2 combined spinners: 1st from 00:46:341 - 00:47:582 and a 2nd spinner from 00:47:996 - 00:49:237
01:29:580 (X) - add note?
01:32:269 (1) - maybe use a slider from 01:31:855 up to this point to better match the song

Most of the boring 1/1 taps could be improved by using some sliders that support the vocals maybe you can improve it a bit overall.


[Heavy]
- Hitsounds need a complete overhaul. Most finish hitsounds sound really off (00:04:137 (5)) as you randomly use them on the upbeats. You can be 90% sure to use finish hitsounds correctly if you place them on big white ticks.
- Using random soft-whistles can throw the player off the beat and it sounds just bad (00:52:961 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6)).
- I suggest reading some guides to generally improve your mapping and hitsound usage.

00:54:616 (1,...) - the first KIAI is mapped alot better than the previous part. Try to improve the rest of the map the same way
00:54:616 (1) - if you implement jump patterns like this one make sure to at least have consistent jump-spacing inside the combo (you have 1,6x and 2,3x in one pattern and it doesn't play very good, stick to one distance inside the pattern)



Mapset still needs much work but the basics are here so keep it up.

You can just use the standard one from the template set you can download in the updater but the file should be included in your skin to prevent mismatching with custom skin packs. Don't forget to do a full submit to add new files. Ok, I'll ask touche to mod this, specially the spinner... the histburst it's ok i think o.o, I'll add the approach circle.

- Tune down the comboburst soundfiles a bit. They are louder than your song file. I don't know how D:!

- Maybe remove "Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA2" from the source and add it to the tags instead. The song title is way too long otherwise ("Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA2 (TERRA) - STARS(Re-tuned by HAL)-DDR EDITION-") barely fits the screen width... Changed, the source now is DDR SuperNova2


[Touche' Beginner]
- Use a fixed SV here please...It is completely unnecessary to use 1,20x SV just to reduce it with 3 different custom multipliers. I suggest sticking to 0,8x - 1,0x SV (use whatever feels right for you and change in the timing tab).
- You will have to remap the complete map with the new settings and be sure you won't have to change SV or distance spacing again - test your settings before you start all the work.

00:06:620 (1,2,3) - do not switch between different spacings randomly. It is best to stick to one fixed spacing for beginners difficulties distance snapping). Depending on your used SV and your overall mapping style (mainly 1/1 tapping or vocals/melody follow) you should use something that allows for your dominant beatpattern (in this case 1/1 beat distances) to not overlap and look clean.
00:19:860 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - beatplacement is not "wrong" but the constant in-line 1/1 circle tapping is very boring and not what you would call "good mapping". Keep the beat in mind but try to map the most dominant part of the song especially for beginners difficulties. At least support the vocals by using sliders where they fit the hold outs and lyrics.

To create patterns like this use a very precise top slider with the top beeing exactly in the middle (you can move around the complete combo afterwards), copy paste it to the correct timespot and rotate it by 60° clockwise, place it without gridsnapping until you are satisfied with the shape, copy paste the new slider and mirror horizontal. The result will differ depending on how good the source slider is so just keep trying until you like it.

You will have to remap the whole thing because of the SV-mess anyway so while you are at it try to make it as interesting but still as clean as possible. This is not an easy thing to do and I know that. Just don't give up. Ya po wn deja de flojear y modea la diff! xD

- Whenever possible try to map the big white ticks.
- It is great to use your custom sample for the upbeats but it needs to be more consistent. Please check the different parts for missing claps on the upbeats.

Most of the boring 1/1 taps could be improved by using some sliders that support the vocals maybe you can improve it a bit overall.


[Heavy]
- Hitsounds need a complete overhaul. Most finish hitsounds sound really off (00:04:137 (5)) as you randomly use them on the upbeats. You can be 90% sure to use finish hitsounds correctly if you place them on big white ticks.
- Using random soft-whistles can throw the player off the beat and it sounds just bad (00:52:961 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6)).
- I suggest reading some guides to generally improve your mapping and hitsound usage.

00:54:616 (1,...) - the first KIAI is mapped alot better than the previous part. Try to improve the rest of the map the same way
00:54:616 (1) - if you implement jump patterns like this one make sure to at least have consistent jump-spacing inside the combo (you have 1,6x and 2,3x in one pattern and it doesn't play very good, stick to one distance inside the pattern)

00:52:961 (5) - This is rather ugly, especially the way this overlaps with (6). Flip it vertically (keeping the start point the same), make it twice as long, and only repeat once.
