When I'm storyboarding in the SBE I can't use Ctrl+Z anymore because it will reset the order of all my SBed objects

example:
notice how the order has changed under [foreground]

edit: it seems this also happens when you hit Ctrl+Z even when you aren't in the design tab

Bump.

This happened to me many times and it's really annoying.

I didn't even know it was CTRL-Z's fault and sometimes i had to move every storyboarded object because of that >.>

Bump (2)?

Ctrl Z in both the Design tab and the Compose tab resets the order of SOME SB sprites consistently.

It wasn't fixed with the newest build of osu! :/

Bump. I had this major problem while SBing Danzai Yamaxanadu and Hajimari no Sakamichi :|

My problem is similar but one my case, Osu reorganize my Sb pics every time that I turn off the game.

its ok, it doesnt ruin the SB as long as you have correct layers order..
if it doesnt show correctly..
- open the beatmap folder
- move .osb to desktop
- save
- back to song selection or quit (i'd rather do this)
- put .osb file back

EDIT: geez its an old topic lol

Not necessarily true.
When ou have a lot of objects in a single layer (because SBs are mostly made up of Background and Foreground) the order of the objects is important.

Yep you're right, but it's a pain to do that every single time, isn't it?

Annoying bug is annoying, even if it's old D:

I think osu didn't do this until 2 releases ago, if that helps...

EDIT: oh also, i'd like to remind another one i noticed some time ago. It's impossible to reorganize SB objects in the editor: everytime you click one it will go on the bottom and won't move at all.

I have a slightly easier solution for now, open the osb before you even start, and then when you're done, save the osb file you had open the entire time and thus will be exactly the same as saving in osu! doesn't change the text in the notepad window you had open, if the the editor made any changes to the osb, saving would put it back to where it was.

the only solution for now is not to use ctrl+z

but I'm hoping for a fix...

Bump. (b1661)

It becomes extraordinarily tedious for diff-specific SB elements by having the .osu open.

Please?
