i sometimes want more tickrate in some parts of the song and sometimes i want the other way around. with of course, same slider velocity.

this is also somewhat nice for controlling the total score for a beatmap.
since you can place slider tick 4 in only one part of the song instead of having tick rate of 4 throughout the song (tickrate 4 in a slider-y map = easy points, high score)

the point in this is that mappers can manipulate the tickrate while not changing the slider speed
