My Suggestion:

If the song is part of a beatmap pack, display the pack name (With potential download link) on the song page.

EG:

This would assist in informing newer users about the presence of beat-map packs, as well as allow existing users to find similar-style songs.

This would also help reduce the amount of "You're downloading too much - Please wait 2 minutes!" by letting the user download the entire beat-map pack on the separate site (During the next played song, or some such), letting them grow their song collection more quickly, as well as having more commonly played songs.

The beatmap pack they are part of it's already displayed in the beatmap listings, dunno if adding it to the song listing/scores would make it any better.

You are really only informed of this when searching for a specific song. Most people download new songs VIA clicking the song in-game, bypassing this step entirely.

After several downloads (Be they short songs, an annoying host, or w/e), you are presented with the happy "Whoa, slow down!" screen, unable to continue downloading the song you wished. If the Beatmap Pack was listed, you could download the required song (As well as any additions) before the song-download delay timer is up (Resulting in you having more than just the specific song, lessening potential future strain on the servers)

If you are downloading maps too fast from in-game then you're downloading maps too fast, there's more than enough time to download something, play it, then download something else, play it, and so on.

But it would not be a big deal to add.

I don't see why not. The beatmap pack is displayed outside when searching for beatmap and it's not like you can go back to that list if you only have the displayed beatmap.
