General:

- Add CTB to the tags.
- Check your tags, they're not the same on all versions !

[Shauni's CTB]:

- It's not a guest diff, therefore consider changing the diff name to CTB Insane, Hard, or what will fit the final difficulty.

To be honest, you should probably remap the whole CTB. I'll explain why, and of course, I'll give you advice so you can have a decent CTB diff !

- First. You need a lead in. 2 seconds would do it. You can't make a map that start right away without a warning.

- You should check your settings under the "Difficulty tab". Hp Drain: 10, AR7, OD8. It makes something really unbalanced ! I would say HP8, AR9 (It fits better in CTB, 8 is acceptable, 7 and 10 are not for a song at 170bpm). OD 7 or 8.

- Even in CTB the new combo is useful ! Don't put a new combo every note.

- The Tick Rate for slider is too high ! 1 is clearly enough.

- Your timeline is quite inconsistent. Examples : 00:01:116 (1,1,1) - . Why are they mapped on blue ticks? It doesn't make any sense ! There's nothing to map on those blue ticks. You have unsapped notes @ 00:56:375 (1) - and 00:56:552 (2) - Some parts of the timeline are good, but still, it lacks of consistent like 01:40:469 (1,1) - . You could have put a triplet here. 01:35:528 (1,1) - Why is this empty? there's still music here !

This is one of the reasons that make me think you should remap everything ! Try to map by thinking : Here, I can follow the vocals, cause it's catchy, easy to recognize, and I can do something great on it. Here, it's only instrumental, then I should map on it rather than not mapping at all, and so on. Try to find what will fit the best on this part, and map it !

- Did you just copy paste your insane in your CTB diff ? or the CTB diff in the insane ? Cause it's not how it should be done ! Obviously, both diff should look the "same" in a way, when it comes to timeline, but... not at this point. The CTB allows you to map on differents sounds that would be not so easy to map on in standard ! you should take advantage of that. You can map on something in the background, if it's consistent and the player can hear it. Since you don't have to tap the note like in standard, it allows sort of stuff like that ! Also, remember the CTB is translated horizontally. Having a lot of vertical patterns makes the map really boring !

I think you should rework your insane and your CTB diff, to make timelines consistent and improve a lot your patterns. CTB mapping is not about having vertical fruits with an hyperdash at the end of the pattern. Hyperdash are welcome as long as they serve a purpose in the map (making interesting patterns that are not rankable in standard due to high spacing, creating a good flow in the map and so on).

Unrankable stuff

Here, it's the unrankable stuff, which means that you CAN'T PUT THAT IN ANY CTB Diff. If you want a better idea on what are the rules/guidelines for CTB mapping, have a look here, especially for this :

01:06:058 (1,1,1,1,1,1) - This one is bugged. The easiest way to explain the pixel jumps:
So, I've removed the note in 01:06:234 (2) - and have repositionned the fruits on an horizontal line (exception is 4, but he's at the same distance on an horizontal plan). 1 - 2 > Hyperdash. 2 > 3 > 4 = no hyperdash. This is a bad. They're exactly at the same position, but, they don't have hyperdash. This is something that should be avoided ! I pointed this, cause you have some in your map, making it impossible to FC without any mods (like Half time or Easy).

Well, I think that's all.

You should have a look on maps that are aiming for ranking in this thread, at the first page. Take note that some maps in the list have been already modded several time by the CTB modding community and are "more polished" than others. But I think it'll give you an idea on how people map in CTB !

If you need help, ask a CTB modder some advices !

I'll give some quick suggestions on insane. Don't kudos, this isn't a mod.

00:01:116 - This is beat 1. So you should put the red timing line here, or (preferably) at 00:00:-294 - if you move it into the negative values, then any offset changes later will change all the notes. I think this is the reason you think you're wrong. The rhythms don't seem to follow the music very well all the time, but they're definitely not annoying, and not something that is in desperate need of a fix.
00:06:763 (8) - Notice how this now falls on a long white tick. This is where you want to put new combos. You've already done a good job with it.
00:13:734 (1,2) - move (1) 1/4th earlier and move (2) 1/4 later. Optionally use a slider to connect the two.
00:44:705 - make (10) a circle, and put (11) starting here
00:48:587 (12) - move 1/4th later
00:53:175 - there's a note here, but I'm not sure which one (12) or (13) work better there. Probably delete (13) and extend (12) out to the red tick
01:01:293 (5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - select this whole thing and move it back 1/2.
01:04:293 (5) - I don't like 1-4, but you should make this a circle if you like it. The lyrics are very weird here and hard to follow.
01:08:352 (6,7) - Move to the blue tick in between and delete the other one.
01:10:293 (2,5,7,10) - Pay attention to the lyrics here. You should be able to hear an emphasis on these notes. 2,5,10 all are at the start of the slider or on the circle, which means you mapped it well. (7) however has the emphasis in the lyrics on the end of the slider. Simply reverse 7 8 and 9 and you should be good. Or reorganize it so that 2,5,7, and 10 all are sliders and the rest are circles.
01:15:058 (10,11,12,13) - I ignored it up until now, but in general, people don't like anti-jumps. Compressed streams are not anti jumps, even though they have smaller spacing. You have thoroughly abused the .5x spacing, making the map just tedious, and IMO not fun to play. Jumps are fun, almost always. Anti-jumps are good when it's appropriate, but only when used sparingly.
01:42:058 (11,12) - add 2 more notes after this and shorten the spinner. Or just 1 note. Put the spinner 1/2 after the last note you put down.

In general, the map is made worse by all the "fancy speed changes" you put in with all the different slider velocities. A few are fine, but only when it's really clear that it fits the music, and even then, I guarantee you that you don't even need to slow it down.

It's got potential, definitely. I'll add you to my queue, but don't expect a full mod any time soon. I've got a number of folks waiting.

The only more or less bad thing I could mention is that about 1/3 of the map is Kiai time, which can't be good (that wouble in general for osu). Otherwise it seems pretty nice.

Oh, yea. I know this and thinking about shorten a bit, but...well...I always forgot to listen the full version too. I hope I will not forget again. ._.

Kiai in [kajiyatta's Hard] starts on 01:04:645, ends on 01:42:762. In other diffs kiai starts on 01:04:646, ends on 01:45:410. Fix it.
Inconsistency in Tags: Delete "norbi" from [Lussy's Taiko], [Norbi's Taiko Oni], [Normal].
All diffs except [kajiyatta's Hard] has Letterbox during breaks.

Thanks for the mod. Well, on insane some are already changed. :) I changed the other ones now. :3 I asked a unexperienced player to test for me and she able to pass with few misses, so i don't think I need to change the spacing. And with more mods the spacing is also change so I don't think this is a huge mistake. And about the slow sliders, I thinking about how to change them, but to be honest, I dunno. I think they are good now. o.o

- Your offset is incorrect! The first beat of the metronome should be on the downbeat. Therefore, the correct offset is 1136. Be sure to resnap all notes if need be.
- Slider tick rate 0.5 is unrankable. Please use tick rate 1 or 2.
- In my opinion, the hitsounds and the structure need a lot of work. You're constantly switching patterns and finishes are in odd places.

[Easy]

- You should use 100% volume. The song is pretty loud.
- This difficulty is really boring with the constant 1/1 notes. In my opinion, this is not creative and unacceptable for any difficulty.

(Somehow I suggest you to make a unique taiko diff naming system, i.e. both in forms of xxx's Taiko or xxx's Taiko Oni unless this is the diff name they've already used for a long time)

- you need not tag the artist again; if I've remembered it correctly it should be 5pb. instead of 5pb?
- You have 7 diffs currently so just be careful -w-

I mentioned using a backbeat when I was talking to you. These are a rhythm on beats 2 and 4 of the song. If you ever find yourself clapping along to a song, there's probably a backbeat, and you're probably clapping on those beats. one two three four one two three four etc...

I only bookmarked half of the song, hopefully you can learn enough to do the rest.

The beginning doesn't have much easily clappable, so you can pretty much do whatever. I did whatever I thought might sound okay. The rest of the song has a pretty standard beat to use.

Also, the offset is here: 00:01:136 - otherwise the long white tick is in the wrong spot. You can also move back 4 spaces to 00:00:-274 - but osu hates negative offsets for some reason.

Next, whistles. In general you want to avoid normal whistles, but if you come up with a pattern that's fun, do it. Soft whistles are very forgiving (they don't sound terrible, and in the section that I left out the claps, you can put in soft whistles to keep the same backbeat going), so you can put them pretty much anywhere. If you can feel an emphasis on a note, put a hitsound there. Alternatively, you can follow the melody with the whistles. Put a whistle not on every syllable, but the important ones which are emphasized:

You might also put whistles on the slider itself if the note is held out, but as I said earlier, be careful with whistles, since they can be annoying.

Finally finishes. My method puts a finish whenever you hear a cymbal crash in the song:

During the kiai, there's actually a cymbal crash every beat, so it gets kind of repetitive, and I wouldn't recommend you put one there.

Really it's just following the music and using hitsounds to accent/duplicate the music. Clap=snare drum hit, whistle=melody, finish=cymbal crash

Thanks for the help. I hope I will able to finish the rest of the song on my own. Well, the claps are there where I placed them before, so I think I was right with them. I hardest ones are the whistles, well, not hard, but hard to hear them through the rest of the music. Finishes are easily findable, I think. Well, lets see what I will do with them. ^^ Now I add you a kudosu, because this is already the second time when helped me out. I hope I don't need these kind of helps in the future. ^^

Well, if you not help, even if it is just a little, I don't know what to do. I tell you again, sorry for being starter mapper. Yes, this is my first map, yes I suck with it, but if the fucking modders not help me, I never be better. Unpredictable spacing.....well I don't think so. I asked several players to play my map and they passed at first try. I always changed the placement after every spectate a bit. My map is always improved. Unsnaped objects on Easy? Haha, maybe your eyes are unsnaped, but not the objects. I used AiBat for this map and "Nothing to see!" on every diff. Thanks for nothing, really.

Yeah, that was definitely the worst mod I have ever posted in my life. I figured that you'll be pissed at me and you have EVERY right to and I apologize for my rude modding. Okay, here's what happened: I was playing osu! bad that day and I ragequit. Then, that's when I started modding your map so.....yeah (I should have simply just quit osu! and mod your map later, but I didn't). And so with my "raged mind" I wasn't thinking straight when modding your map and therefore resulted in that gay mod from my last post. :| In reality however, I'm not a bad modder. In this case, however, I absolutely lost it. I should have never said those things about your map and so again, I apologize. Your map is NOT terrible, it just has potental.

Also, I don't use AIBat (and I probably should start using it eventually), I use AIMod to check whether the notes are unsnapped or not. On easy (at least when I was modding the map), the AIMod says the notes was unsnapped (not ALL the notes was unsnapped, but only a few were). On hard, you forgot to insert video for that difficulty.

There are steps I follow, before I mod maps from my queue, I first check if the mapper has any ranked maps, pending maps, or graveyarded maps. Then I check the map's infromation and the desciption (in your case it says first map in your map description, so I knew that this was your first map and that you are a new mapper). I do these steps first to clarify whether the mapper has followed my queue rules or not. If the map violates my rules, I will skip the map. If the map obeys my rules, I will download the map and eventually mod the map. I place any requested maps (whether from modding queue or In-Game Request) in my Modding Queue Folder to mod later. When I finish modding the maps, I place the finished maps in a diffierent folder (I usually don't throw any requested maps anyway).

Sorry for the long post and sorry for offended you. Never doing that again. My goal is to help mappers not to piss them off (lol). Damnit, what the hell was I thinking? Baka BeatofIke! >_<

This is my second time when I got the same or almost the same mod. To be honest, this is my 3rd map, but I just deleted the first, the second is really is my second. I write there the "1st" because this is the first which I want to be ranked and this is the first which I care about this much. I was asked ziin for a fast look at my insane because of the offbeat sliders and never asked him to mod but he eventually added to his list, this was made me happy and tried to go forward. But so many modders just skip it or I just write the queue late. Yes, I mainly ctb player rarely play standard and for me the hards are impossible sometimes. I never try to go at the insanes this is why I unable to test my own map. I improved the placement several times and now it is completely different than the first time. In my point of view it is awesome and able to be ranked, of course need more work. But if nobody gives advice it is stay as it is now and never be better. I don't want to bother ziin too much but I think he will help me just as he did already two times. Anyways I'm not angry or something like that, I just don't like if the modders say "it is horrible" or "just give up". If they just write me some advice, like "try to place them better" or something like that, I will accept it and try to do as they say. Anyways, this is another long post, so I finish it. If you give me some good advice I will happily give you kudosu, because its useful. I got another insane from the same mapper who did the hard and now I'm thinking about to change it, so if my insane is really that bad, I will change is, but of course i ask several players before and ziin too. I will update the hard to be video on it.

Edit: And on the easy diff, some objects are really unsnapped nut I don't know how. I opened with AiBat and it is mention it. This is the second time I need to resnap them. ._. Maybe I just forgot after the offset change...If you are a baka,, then I'm a baka too. xd

Well, the hitsounds are really messy, I'm not good with them. When the vocal is star I just couldn't hear the music very well. I placed the current finishes where seems empty for me. Same with the whistles. Maybe what I missed I will get through the mods. (I hope it) You are not able to help me too much but thanks for the check. :3

I don't want to use quote. I'm too lazy. ._. Thanks for the mod. The hitsounds on the ctb diff are remain the old, I mean they are the same as the first version of insane. When I will have some time i will change them. I got another insane from kajiyatta but 2 diff from one user it doesn't feels right. I keep it just in case. The hitsounds on insane goes after ziin's suggestions. About the insane, i need more mods with more details to move forward with it. Originally I wanted to ask osuplayer but he is always too busy. ._.
