[Archived] compressing osu music files? or system files?

hello everyone,

is it possible to compress or convert osu mp3 music files into smaller one? maybe to ogg or something?

or is it possible to have osu mania files only? since i only play that mode :D

because my collection is very huge, it's more than 100GB+, now i just deleted the video files and its still soo big, LMAO. :)

any help/tips is appreciated

Most mp3 in osu! are already compressed, around 128kb bitrate. It's pretty much already a small filesize.
If you want osu!mania files only, then make sure to show only osu!standard maps and then del > delete all visible beatmaps
