[Archived] Pressing esc right when map ends "freezes" the game

Pressing esc right after the last note on a map causes the game to not finish the map and not get to the result screen.
Happened to me quite a few times now.

osu! version: 20161101.1beta

By 'freeze' does osu! Turn white?
Or does it crash?

Does this happen in every map?
If not, what maps are causing this?

Do you mean pressing ESC when the screen turns black?
I never have this problem (notice my 0 A's, I quit always at last note when there's at least 1 miss)
I noticed you're in beta, does this happen in Stable(Latest)?

I've only noticed it in solo
And no, the screen doesn't change, it just shows you the background forever until you eventually exit the map via the pause menu.

Have you tried pressing spacebar when this happens? Usually fixes it for me.

It's weird, I've tried recreating it but have had no success so far, so I assume the problem is solved
