why Tidus is harder than Yuna ? *.*
well... really great map for such a slow BPM *.*
btw, I'm not an expert but the timing seems ok for me, I did not see any problem when I played the map...

Solid mapping in general, good job. My main concern here is the odd placement of kiai time ends: I think they should be at 02:07:322 and 04:38:179. Other than that, nothing really stands out. The rest of this post consists of stylistic changes which I think are important in general, but even more for this map because the song is very evocative and powerful, particularly for those that have played Final Fantasy X. Please take my suggestions into careful consideration.

Considering the themes of the song and where it was played in the game, I think the background that was used for Mukku's map is a much better choice than what you're using now. The current one is just too bright and poorly representative of the song in general to me. If you're doing that, then I would also recommend using his combo colours as well since they fit with the background.

The storyboard is something that I feel is a bit too over the top. The amount of white flashes at kiai time should be halved (keep the first and third) and they should not be appearing anywhere else. It loses all impact and becomes distasteful when it's used this frequently, really. Perhaps you should use a seperate effect for the cymbals in the verse. The black effect isn't too bad though.

Finally, I'd like to see an exception be made for this map (and perhaps all songs under 100 BPM or so that can't be cut down easily because of the form of the song) and have it get ranked. The score is relatively low as well, so it is certainly a special case. There's no way I'm letting the mp3 get cut, so we'll see what happens. I can bubble it either way.

Hi, thanks a lot for you post, was really helpful, I kinda needed that help from someone that knows the game, because I'm clueless about it, and I tried to do my best, so the map doesn't divorce from the game. I took all of your suggestions, I hope is good now ^^

· Change background color to darker than current? You can change it by notepad.
· 01:38:822 - Set preview point at here. Current preview point doesn't play 'sute'.

[Tidus]
02:06:464 (3) - Add finish at end of slider
02:31:322 (1) - Put finish instead of whistle? (start of slider)
02:58:964 - I don't think this green area of break time is really needed.
04:38:179 (5) - Add finish?

[Yuna]
02:31:322 (4) - Finish instead of whistle?
02:32:179 (1) - Add clap at end of slider
04:02:179 (3) - Add clap at start of slider
04:34:750 (1) - Add finish?
04:57:250 - Useless timing point
05:09:893 (1) - Put whistle instead of finish (05:15:036)

hitsounds fixed on both diffs, you are so pro *.*

  1. Liss! :3
  2. The offset sounds a bit off. '469ms' sounds better, try it.
  3. 02:07:536 - I would increase volume to 20~25%, the vocals are loud enough imo.
  4. 04:38:822 - ^
  5. Due to the use of Storyboarding during the breaks I think that the Letter-boxing is not necessary, perhaps disable it?
  6. From this point: 05:15:893 - until the end the end of the song, I think that you will need to add some offsets because the BPM starts to decrease. I tried to time it but I'm not sure of what I got so you better get a timing expert. Here's what Erufen got, it sounds fine to me, so try it

    321161,1090.90909090909,4,2,1,30,1,0
  7. This mapset might be affected by the new rules ('4mins' rule) but I wouldn't worry too much, The song is a bit long but this doesn't belong to the Approval category.
[Yuna]
  1. 01:51:893 (5) - I wouldn't use this 1/4 yet, I know it's not too hard but It feels a bit forced. A 1/2 slider should be enough.
  2. 02:54:464 (3) - I'm not sure if this slider's repeat should land on 1/6, I'm pretty sure that it should land on 1/8 here: 02:54:786 - Try to re-check to make sure that it's correct. (Perhaps, listen it at 25%)
  3. 04:22:750 (5) - Same thoughts for this one.
  4. 05:09:893 (1) - Hmm I think that this slider with those repeats are a bit too long and somehow boring. Perhaps remove those repeats and then add some objects instead?
  5. 05:20:179 (6) - If I'm not mistaken, this slider is not snapped to the right timing.
  6. 05:21:036 (1) - Same as above, this spinner needs to be snapped using 'BPM: ?'
  7. Nvm, only the first offset I gave might be correct. From this point: 05:15:893 - until the end I think that you will need to add some offsets because the BPM starts to decrease. I tried to time it but I'm not sure of what I got so you better get a timing expert. (I'll paste this to [General])
[Tidus]
  1. 02:54:464 (5) - Same as Easy, I think that the repeat should land on 1/8 not 1/6.
  2. 04:06:464 (5,6) - Hmm I think that this would sound better if you use a slider instead of 2 circles.
  3. <3
Other than the timing at the end, I don't see any major issues in this relaxing mapset.

I'll try to get one, for now using erufen's offsets~
