Problem Details:

Was the PP algorithm just changed?
Just lost 7 PP from a 3 star map I've never played before and was booted out of top 50 US ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

osu! version: 20160504.1 (latest)

Not just now, but there were some tweaks to it a few weeks ago which made many people lose a (very) small amount of pp. Maybe you haven't played since then?

Yeah, I haven't played.
So PP only gets updated after playing?
I thought that was just ranks.

Not 100% sure of that myself, but submitting a score 'refreshes' it, so any change in pp and rank will be applied then if it hasn't already.

Ah I see, well thanks for replying.
By any chance do you know the date the PP algorithm was changed? Just curious.

Apri 28th by the looks of it. Not 100% certain though.
