Surprisingly enough, I like this, doesn't look like there's much support of it though...
I would want it to where it not that you cant use windows to configure the volume when using another audio device than you default. at least that's the case in xbmc

Correct me if I'm wrong, but has this been added in a way?
I'd say it has. You can change the default audio device in the "Playback devices" sound menu (at least in Windows 7) and osu! will change along with it, so this is as good as added.
