Problem Details:
My old score (with HT) was [413.040 95.25% S] and it was worth 350pp
My new score (no-mod) is [569.153 85.50% B] and it is only worth 175pp
in the end, I lost 99pp from my total pp score because I improved my #2 score by ~25%
Why is osu! doing this? And in case its actually intended to be this way, why won't it keep my "most valuable" score but instead this one?

I spent hours trying this jacks-chaos over and over again, my hands still hurt, my keys have a loose contact now, the light inside 3 of the keys broke, and on top of that don't only don't get rewarded, I even get punished. I feel kind of tricked and I lost all my motivation to play this game.

Video or screenshot showing the problem:

total pp after the no-mod pass: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4508353
both scores on my score board: https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/4508364

I believe that the thing you ask for (most valuable score) is actually confirmed to come sooner or later

This is working as intended. osu! simply takes the highest score as the 'best' score, as higher score means it's higher in the leaderboard. PP is independant of score, and the submitted play with the highest score will count towards your pp, regardless if it's worth more or less pp.

this is correct, but don't hold your breath for it.

your PP are more weighted with HT mods because you got better accuracy and score than no-mod play..

in this case, if PP could be 'decreased' after you got lower highscore by no-mod play 'after' HT play, its reaaally weird case..
