00:01:348 - 00:05:800 - fix the blankets in this place. im sure you know what a blanket is by now.
00:01:347 (1,2,3) - examples is this. http://puu.sh/noylW/96923cdb1a.jpg <-- how i fixed it. now look for similar problems. turn off gridsnap coz blanketting is literally impossible with that turned on.
00:03:327 (4) - i think you might wanna go do something different. this is approaching a new rhythm point(?) so wanna make a different slider to indicate this? http://puu.sh/noysI/9ea9d8661c.jpg. but this is just an example. if you do apply this tho, fix any ugly overlapping that might happen.
00:04:316 (3,1) - and similar parts: fix blanket.
00:06:624 (1,2,3) - this sort of slider is, to my knowledge, unrankable. might wanna do something more normal.
00:08:933 (1,2,3,4,1) - this is essentially a 182 bpm stream. what i would do in hard diffs is that i would avoid placing streams coz i think theyre too difficult, but this is only a 5 hit, so i think it should be okay.
00:09:263 (1,2,3) - make the DS visually appear the same. like this. http://puu.sh/noyJT/1803287fdc.jpg makes it more neater and easier to read.
00:10:582 (3,1) - stack this more closer.
00:17:178 (1,2,3) - keep these sliders in 1/2. the song imo doesnt even call for 3/4 sliders. even then, i dont think its recommended to put complex rhythm in a hard diff.
00:21:135 (5) - again, this sorta slider is unrankable.
00:22:702 - put a breaktime

00:27:401 (1) - make this repeat one more time.
00:34:163 (4,1) - fix blanket
00:36:471 (1,2,3,4,5,1) - this might be a bit too hard for hard diffs. make this into a 1/1 pattern. use sliders or something.
00:36:966 (1,2,3,4,5) - in hard diffs youre not forced to follow every beat in the song. like just use really really really simple beats.
00:41:583 (2,3) - fix sliderblanket.
00:48:838 (2,3) - blanket. you know where to fix these so i wont say anything about this.
00:49:663 (1,2,3,4) - you see on how all these slider ends land on a more powerful beat? yeah in my book this is a huge nono coz clickability for emphasis. so make these powerful beats clickable, and remember. easy to click and easy to understand rhythm for hard diffs okay?
01:15:222 - breaktime.

01:20:169 (1,2,3,4,5) - i dont recommend this. just use repeat sliders.
01:23:137 - either map this part or stuff a breaktime.

01:25:446 (1) - yeah remember what i said about not needing to emphasize everything on hards?
01:27:095 (4,3) - dont make these sliders touch. bad overlap :l
01:29:403 (2,3) - nearly touching. space these more.
01:30:393 (1,2,3,4) - ya i dont recommend streams in this diff anyway :l either remove them or something, up to you.
01:35:010 (4) - for stuff like this you always used a slower slider, so i expect you to do the same with this.
01:46:553 (1) - see? this is better.
02:10:298 (2,3,4,5,1,2) - im gonna stop mentioning stuff like this. you know what im gonna say. either change these to simpler rhythm (no 1/2 streams) or keep em up to you.
02:17:224 (3) - use a slower slider. consistency is key.
02:27:777 (4) - slowerrrrr.

okay that wasnt as bad as i thought. i mean, its still bad, but its workable. the spacing is really low tho. i mean at least extend the hitobjects so that you can see the follow points. makes them more neater imo. as for the remapping. im not gonna tell you to remap the whole thing. you dont need to do that.

00:01:348 - 00:22:455 - remap this part, coz its unbearably messy. like seriously messy. remember to keep the rhythm simple (1/1 in this case). dont use any fancy sliders if you dont know/arent sure how to handle them. avoid streams (1/2 in this case).

oh my this is messy.
lets start by noting the major flaws of this diff.

slider velocity
too fast for its own good. i mean, this is extra/ultra diff tier speed. insane players would cry. even i got thrown aback by this. lower it down next time. when remapping, i reecommend using SV 1.00.

spacing
00:01:347 (1,2,3) - and others. we have this (which has a faulty blanket btw). good wide spacing. and then suddenly this 00:05:470 (4,5,6) - nothing in the song suggests this, making this come out as a full blown nasty surprise. this isnt even distanced equally.

00:28:721 (2,3,4) - and others. theres this. this. this is extra diff jumps. this is evil. there are tons of ways to do this, and this is not one of them.

hey this isnt even done yet! thats nice. this gives me room to say that you need to completely remap this. i stated my points above. when remapping, keep in mind that this is a 350bpm map. that means 1/2 jumps are out of the question = overkill. use 1/1 rhythm for this, use 1/2 if you ABSOLUTELY need to.

good luck remapping the parts i told you. at least your hard was okay-ish.

01:35:010 (4) - for stuff like this you always used a slower slider, so i expect you to do the same with this. You know what? Ever since I made this diff, I have felt iffy about that slider. Fixed and remapped to fit it in better.
01:46:553 (1) - see? this is better. Yes. Yes, it is.

Whilst keeping in the pattern for the most part, I did decide to remap surrounding issues to mitigate the difficulty of the patterns.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Fixed problems are in blue, unchanged parts are in red, and partial fixes are in green.

I am going to entirely remap the Insane though, as I am not satisfied with ANYTHING in it.

Decided to mod this since this was linked in #modhelp and I enjoyed playing Nino's diff. I can look back at the Insane diff when it's complete.

00:10:582 (1,2) - The music emphasizes a 3/2 pattern here. Meaning 00:10:829 should have an object. Maybe make a repeating slider at that repeats at that point and start the short stream at 00:11:241?
00:11:571 (6,7) - The slider should start at 6 since the sound you're mapping to begins at that point.
00:21:135 (5) - Please make this look nicer .-.
00:22:784 - Insert a break here. Seems kind of long for drain to be going.

General: This is just my personal opinion, but AR10 was hella hard. I know it couldn't go much lower anyways due to the bpm/object density, but I just wanted to point it out.

00:17:342 (2) - Maybe rotate this a bit clockwise and adjust a bit?
00:41:087 (2) - Ctrl+H the curve's direction here, maybe.
01:20:251 (2) - Make this a circle followed by the buzzslider starting on the white tick to follow the music better.
01:52:818 (1,2) - Any reason these aren't symmetrical?
02:06:010 (1) - Perhaps make the first node go right instead of left? I think it would make it look/feel better.
02:07:577 (3) - Same with this, make this as a circle followed by the buzzslider starting on the white tick.

I haven't done hitsounding, and I have to find some way to get it under 2 stars (will do that if you accept this GD). This is my first time mapping a Normal so it's probably not good at all.

If you want better quality, either don't use my GD or get some mods for the set :)

00:17:342 (2) - Maybe rotate this a bit clockwise and adjust a bit? Fixed to the best of my ability.
00:41:087 (2) - Ctrl+H the curve's direction here, maybe. Done.
01:20:251 (2) - Make this a circle followed by the buzzslider starting on the white tick to follow the music better. Fixed.
01:52:818 (1,2) - Any reason these aren't symmetrical? They ARE symmetrical. If you are wondering why they are opposing start points, that is for the sake of maintaining directional flow.
02:06:010 (1) - Perhaps make the first node go right instead of left? I think it would make it look/feel better. I did my absolute best with this, and feel it is fixed.
02:07:577 (3) - Same with this, make this as a circle followed by the buzzslider starting on the white tick. Fixed as well.
02:19:367 (2,3,4) - This stack is messed up here Fixed, thanks for pointing that out.

  1. Check AIMod, there are a lot of errors (different preview points, different kiais, etc...)
  2. Why are taiko diffs lacking a BG?
  3. Artist should be Renard feat. The Quick Brown Fox (source)
  4. Add tags? You can add "vulpvibe records" for example or "no" since it comes from that EP. You can also add GDers' names
  5. Consider adding a diff between Muzukashii and agu's Oni (like a Lite Oni for example) because the difficulty gap is pretty wide here

[Kantan]

  1. OD4 and HP5 at least, I know it's a Kantan but HP2 and OD2 are ridiculously low, it's clearable with 31,37% acc
  2. Beware of unneccessary inherited points, check the timing panel
  3. Change SV to 0.70, I don't think it needs a 1.00 SV 182 BPM scrolling
  4. 00:32:843 - why is kiai starting here? It would make more sense if it began at 00:33:008 - since the new part actually begins there

- Don't abuse of copypasta! In this diff, there is the same patterning 3 times at different parts of the song!
- Avoid continuous mapping! A map should have some breaks at some parts, especially if it's not an Oni or harder! Usually you'd want them to be twice (or more) the regular spacing used in your map

Don't forget to also fix kiai issues I addressed in the Kantan!

[Muzukashii]

OD5 and HP6 at least

I'll do the same as the Futsuu, aka giving some tips:
- All tips from the Futsuu diff. They also apply to this diff (replace 1/1 with 1/2 for the first tip)
- Don't abuse big notes! Putting too many big notes reduces the impact of them so be careful about where to put them!
- 00:05:965 - That break feels really weird since the song still continues here, so it's not a good idea to just put nothing, add some 2/1, it still works as a break since the intensity is way lower than the rest of the map
- That diff is btw really continuous. It's exhausting for the player and it's quite boring actually since it's mostly copypasta. So try to add more 2/1 or 4/1 breaks, and as I said before, don't abuse copypasta
- Don't forget to fix kiai times etc...

[agu's Oni]

  1. HP6 maybe?
  2. Fix kiai time etc...
  3. 00:30:370 - to 00:32:678 - maybe reduce the density here? Since the song is "calmer", it would help to emphasize the kiai
  4. 00:37:873 (257) - change to k? It would help emphasizing the kick retrigger at 00:37:955 -
  5. 00:57:083 (417,418,419) - what about k d k d k? it's the only part where you didn't put 1/2 and it follows the synth

Then changing it is a good idea. Would you be open to making it more difficult when you remap? I mean, you don't have to, but it would really be nice to have it at least 6.4 to 6.7 stars (or higher, if you want).
