Problem Details:
Whenever I play a map, a lot of times the local score doesn't submit to the online rankings even though the map is definitely ranked/qualified. I checked my profile and recent history and couldn't find the map I just full combo'ed because it doesn't show I ever did it. It does this quite a lot and I know without a doubt that I am connected to the internet and there are no error messages to be found. If there is a way to fix this, please tell me, this is becoming quite the pain in the.. well. You know.

osu! version: 20150414.2 (latest)

Make sure to check your firewall or antivirus, if you have one.

Sometimes these can block the score submission, if you don't put osu! in the exceptions.

Will doing this submit the score I just did, or will I have to redo it? I just added Osu! to apps allowed through my firewall.

You will have to get another score, you can't submit old scores.

Can confirm, I've been having the same issue as well. Peculiarly, in my experience, this only appears to happen when the game launches with the scoreboard in local mode. Seems to happen more with qualified maps, though that might just be my imagination. The results screen shows nothing of rankings, as if the map was unranked, as shown here:

Here's a screenshot, taken right after, that shows that the map is indeed ranked:

And I don't think it's an issue with the firewall, because after toggling the scoreboard to global and back to local, I was able to submit a new score just fine, without changing any of my firewall settings. As shown below, the rank depreciation shows that the score was submitted successfully.

Do you know what process that could be that would only restrict the first submission? Anything that I'm running that I'd assume has the ability to block submission would block it continuously, not simply a single time.

A known bug
If you have local rankings on and open a map quickly, the client can't process the (ranked) state of the map
As you play local, during the game, no server connections are made, thus the map isn't seen as ranked/approved/qualified thus the score'll not submit
Haa been reported many times tho
