Is it possible to rename my songs/beatmaps in the Songs folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\osu!\Songs)?
Will it mess anything up (ex. with ranking)?

For example, if the name of the folder/song is 151878 Chasers - Lost, could I rename it to Chasers - Lost? Would it mess anything up?

I mainly just want to rename my songs without the numbers, to make it easier to find the song/folder that I am looking for.

osu! version: 20150414.2 (latest)

There are still several things that osu! uses the folder numbers for. It may affect how thumbnails are displayed for your maps.
