[Archived] osu keeps crashing

Problem Details:
Everytime i open osu it will run just fine untill i play a song for about 20 seconds then osu will just close itself. Ive tried re downloading it, trying it without adding any songs changing the fps up and down and using opengl and directX but nothing seems to work

Are you running osu! on Mac or Windows? Also try running as admin.

Please check cutting edge and see if the behaviour has changed.

im running on windows 8.1 and ive tried running as an adminstrator and also on cutting edge but osu still closes when i play a song

Same here i've been crashing a lot recently i can get into the game but when i enter song select it just crashes.I use windows 7 and i get no crash log.

Do you know how to use EventViewer?

Check for the resulting error in Windows. It should be listed under Application.
