Problem Details:
I started up osu and the mouse sensitivity felt extremely high, I checked osu settings, and it has a polling rate of 1500. When I have it set to 500.
I use the same sensitivity for Windows, as it is the same when not playing osu, but the sensitivity changes only in osu.

Gameplay is also at a lower framerate than usual, I have dips into 30 and 20 on the main menu. When I have a perfectly capable desktop that usually has it in 1300-2000 fps.

Video or screenshot showing the problem:

My settings: http://prntscr.com/481k30
My Logitech Mouse Settings: http://prntscr.com/481kli
During the main menu: http://prntscr.com/481lcx

-Edit-

The problem is fixed, strangely enough, I closed Skype, and it fixed both of the problems. Someone might want to look into that, I'm not sure if it will be a reoccurring problem for others.

-Edit 2-:

The person posting this is a big dumb incompetent imbecile.

osu! version: 20140729.6 (latest)

Skype tends to lag people. Not everyone, just some people, and it can start out of the blue and end out of the blue. If your Skype is running a lot of process that would be one of the main problems. It's probably due to Skype using a lot of bandwith or loading a ton of messages, other than that it's still a mystery to me. :P

Alright, thanks!
I'm just really confused how Skype would change the polling rate.
Once again, Thanks!

There is no reason for Skype to change your polling rate. Anyways, no problem!
