Swap Between Edit / Play Mode Using the Mode Button

This picture basically says it all. Add a button to swap between osu/taiko/ctb/mania and edit mode. I always find myself testing a section of a map in edit mode while learning how to play the map or just seeing how notes and such are spaced before going back to play it. Also, there are often people I talk to that like to spectate after an update so being able to swap conveniently would be nice.

TL;DR? I'm lazy and I'd like to be able to swap modes without having to go to the title screen every time :)

also before I forget.. you'd need to add the mode button on the edit screen for this to actually be useful

also.. I do know about right clicking a map to edit it. Just can't do it the other way around. another suggestion could be to add a 'go to play mode' button on the right click.

I think that the right click suggestion is better since having edit mode in the mode selection box just seems out of place. Also it might confuse noobs

But tbh anything would be better than what we have now.

This doesn't seem possible without some substantial change as the current Edit mode (and listing) do not support fullscreen and forces the player into windowed. The ranking status on the right side would also need to be updated, etc.

Touhosu would probably take that spot once it's released. As is, Edit Mode plus touhosu will cover most of the screen. I hope that by the time touhosu is released, the list may be changed to support more game modes (and Edit mode).

It does not feel natural to transition from Fullscreen to Windowed under the same "Mode" selection list, so I would wait for the new Editor and (hopefully) fullscreen support if possible.

what about making a button only in edit mode since you can easily enter to edit hitting f3 and 5.
there's too much space :P
