I ran your new version and has major issues controlling the game.
I use a GamePad. Don't juudge!
I shut down Joy2Key to see what was going on. Here's what i found:
Nothing else
It seems like someone has been experimenting with controller support but has forgotten to to remove it before committing.
I would like to use my standard "mouse control" profile via joy2key (tho i might need a new one to better handle streams). I would like Osu to do nothing.
Osu shouldn't have any support for XInput so what's going on?
Btw. I ran an old version i had lying around from 2012. No issues.

- Left Analogue - Left = Go back
- Left Analogue - Right = Confirm?
- Left Analogue - Up = Move selection up but only works in beatmap list
- Left Analogue - Down = Move selection down but only works in beatmap list
