I and probably many other players and mods, have seen the problem with necroposting. I feel like, to avoid the problems with necroposters, topics with at least 1-2 years of no replies, should be auto-locked by an automated system. This can lower the amount of necroposting drastically. Give your thoughts below.

To be honest, from my experience as old BBS user:

Golden rule is: One simple do not necropost

But there is an valid exception:

You don't want to create a new thread about certain issue which is valid since day of creation of topic but your problem is different / you found an fix / get a clue what I mean.

Mindless necroposting = no no

On topic and proper post in 4 years old thread = imo acceptable
